    I just bought a used 2015 Honda civic exl priced $14999. with today used car it was abit pricy but its 2022 all used cars are mark up high, for me this was a good deal on a used car with 124 thousand miles on it but Honda engine can last you over 300 thousand miles if you takecare of the Maintenace thats how good the engines are design to do but How cool is that to find a gem of a car with all the bells and whistles, Bluetooth, side and backup camera, navigation system comfy seats, sunroof, alloy 17 wheels much more.
    Compare to a new 2022 Toyota corolla or newer Honda civic price near $30 grand I got a bargain deal.
    My Honda drives smooth, and with today gas prices the civic 1.8 engine will save me tons of money with today gasoline prices. Happy dude here.

    • @humlocker
      @humlocker Před rokem

      @@Albert-xl3nx about 3 years you could've pay around $ 3 or 5 grand for a used car now they mark up higher due to a demand on used cars instead of buying new.

    I love my Honda civic :) I drove a 2006 no problems and only needed to pay 26 dollars for a full tank. Now I drive a 2015 ex-l . And for a civic it's pretty luxurious. I got all black leather interior an I love the dash board and stuff. Last of its kind for that, that's why I bought it over a 2017 model. Car is fun and worth every penny you spend! It's not a sports car. More like economy vehicle for commuting allot, and looks tidy. Plus you can watch porn with a hdmi connection on touch screen while stuck in traffic.... Lol. I love my civic!!!

      Exactly. Engine was designed to maximize fuel consumption. Only on good weather days and at certain ratios do I feel a kick when I floor it. I find it super laggy on highway when it's humid. I just love it's reliability and peace of mind I get driving it.

    Why is it no one can average good gas mileage?? I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX with a 5 speed manual. The last time I filled up I averaged 38 on my tank. I usually get around 40. I do mixed driving with a 60% highway and 40% in town. I really don't understand how Everyman Driver Car Reviews was in ECON the whole week and got 24mpg...?

    I had a 2015 Civic EX-L and for me it was a nice small fuel efficient luxury sports car. I got 24 mpg in the city and 40 on the hwy and that's driving in the mountains of east Tennessee. Unfortunately I had a head on collision with a girl driving a 2015 Ford F150 while texting and it totaled my beautiful car. The Civic is very, very safe though, I survived without a scratch. I think the safety aspect and awesome fuel economy is the main reason I purchased a 2019 Honda Insight EX hybrid which is basically a Civic and I get 60 - 65 mpg on a regular basis.

    it's crazy how comfortable the Civic's seats are. Honda really does a great job with the Civic seats and IMO are actually better than any of their other seats including the Accord. i went shopping around to other brands when looking to replace my Civic and found everything else to be crap...everything. the Corolla - crap. all of the US brands had crap seats. came back to looking at the new Civic and the seats are just phenomenal. nice and wide, good thigh support. it's like a polar opposite from the Subaru Impreza i tried which has seats that look like they are for a 4 year old.
    A+ Honda with your seats

      Yep, I was getting the same thing as Dave driving normally. I just got a 2015 EX a few weeks ago and could only squeeze 27 out of it by feather tapping the pedal when accelerating, and going the speed limit on the highway. Can't get 25 out of it driving in town. Pretty disappointed in that regard. Hoping it improves as I continue to break the engine in. Otherwise it's great.

    I'm becoming more and more fond of the Hondas interior. It used to not sit right with me. One thing that bugs me, is the amount of screens you have to look at. In one of Everyman Drivers videos about the 2013 Mazda3, they said it had too many screens in it. The same goes for the Civic, however they have yet to complain about it. Maybe they're biased?

    I don't get how they sell so many Civics. I have an Si, but had an EX as a loaner car. It got the same MPG as my Si except it was under powered and has a CVT. For exactly $2,000 more, my Si has the bigger engine, amazing 6 speed manual, upgraded audio, 18 inch wheels, leather steering wheel, limited slip differential, larger brakes, better seats, and sport suspension. I just can't understand why so many go for a normal Civic.

      Same mileage? I don't think so, assuming you're talking about the 2014+ (which you must be because you mentioned the CVT). Civic Si w/ 6MT: 22/31/25. Civic EX w/ CVT: 30/39/33. That's an 8 MPG difference, or about 32%. Not saying you're wrong that the Si is a better car, but it's not competitive w/ the regular Civic on gas mileage.

    Thank you for the review, it is a really good review. i noticed the passenger airbag light (white light) was on all the time when you were driving the car. I guess there was no else in the car other than you during the test drive. Is this normal for the civic 2015? I would guess that the passenger airbag light(white light) plus the off light (yellow) should come on, if there is no one in the passenger seat. Just got this car and was going through manual and review to find the answer. I would really appreciate any clarification on this issue.

    IMPORTANT CAR BUYING TIPS, the civic 2015 is a nice car, but there is 1 thing that i hate about any car, when they do the alignment the staring wheel is slightly leaning to the left side wile driving on a very strait highway, and you know what that means, the car could be in line , but ours wasn't, was always wearing the right tire on the out side, honda said that it was the tire company flat, that's not the truth, the truth is the car is aligned with the 2 front wheels to far to the right, and this why the staring wheel is going down to the left, but the honda are beautiful cars, i am not saying that, if someone is leasing , hay any thing is ok, but when buying any car, honda and nissan, mostly, i checked them all, all makes and models, there is 2 really important factors to look for when buying a new car, number 1, check all door and hood and trunk seams to see if the space is the same on all doors , hood , and trunk cover, number 2, how it is handling and staring on the highway, the staring wheel should be right strait and level wile driving on a strait highway , it should be so so easy and comfortably to drive, not having to direct the car every foot of the way, the car should almost float like a plain , if the car that you are thinking of buying fails thouse 2 test, leave it there walk away, try another car, until you find one that passes those 2 teats, it;s is very important, you will be very glad that you did, because a car that fails the 2 tests, your having big problems down the road, , this goes for all cars makes and models, but i have checked many cars , and honda , and nissan mostly have those problems, never grab and take, because listen guys, a car should be made straid all thing lining up nice, if not there something wrong some one is not telling you, car buying tips, you'll be glade that you did.

      @mb013962 Před 9 lety +1

      It's really because of the weather and the fact that he has the heavier higher trim model...the CVT does also play a big role, many people don't know but the 2012 civic with the 5 speed auto (yes I said auto) was actually somewhat more efficient than the CVT, at least on the highway (We got 49.7 in a civic LX rental on the highway for 38 miles)...consumer reports got 19mpg city 47hwy in the '12 LX, 21city 49hwy in the '12 HF, and 18city 43hwy in the '12 EX...compare those numbers to the 2014 EX CVT model got 21city 40hwy, basically the same as the 20city 40hwy they got in the 2012 SI...I'm a nerd when it comes to fuel economy, excuse the long response lol

    I traded a wonderful Chevy Silverado in on a Civic because I needed an economical car. What a mistake. It was supposed to get 30 city and 39 highway. I got 24 city and once 32 hwy never anything higher. Otherwise it was a good car except for the stupid two level dash. I traded it in on a Pilot within a year and that was a wonderful car also. Buy a Civic because you like the fit and finish and handling and you may be happy. Maybe the CVT helps its gas hog tendencies.
