I know exactly how you feel. I'm trying to forget someone too. It helps me a lot when I think about his happiness because all I've wanted was for him to be happy. After all that's all that matters to me right now and because he is happy I can move on. Think about that. If you think about it if you really loved that person you sometimes have to let him/her go and it is a slow and painful process but eventually it will hurt less and less until it won't hurt at all. Of course you'll love them forever but as long as they are happy you are happy

I love both versions of the song.
This one presenting a darker look on life, which I relate to many of the lyrics, hence why I think this is my song.
The other version presents a more optimistic, bright view on life, which I love to listen and sing along to. It makes me smile.
Either way, the sky's still blue. ;)
