Blonde 👱🏻♀️ or Brunette? 👩
💛🟡🟨 -golden
Brunette
MY question is HOW is it that one isn't allowed to do THIS SAME sort of thing concerning SKIN color anymore but it's apparently acceptable with HAIR color?
Oh great! We can't be bigots to each other on the basis of SKIN color anymore so we're just doing it on account of HAIR color instead.
Brunette
I actually contemplated changing my hair color from blonde to brunette before heading into my career path due to the "dumb blonde" stereotype. However, I like my blonde hair, and I refuse to feel insecure about it. If people are going to judge me or not date me or not take me seriously over a hair color then that says more about them.
You are right❤❤❤❤❤everyone s unique in his own way, i never thought someone is dumb because of hair colour or a wicked witch, bitch and so on. Yes blonde stands out more, you have real privilegies and you have to use that.
@@ketevandidebuli4611 Well hello been trying to message on our original post and can't
This blonde bashing is a stereotype af.
I only believed it was only in Europe , but America perpetuate it too.
I wish it can be deconstructed very soon , i feel very offended when people talking trash against blonde women.
Sounds like you're just AFFIRMING the stereotypical thinking by DOING THAT.
Blondes are seen first, brunettes are heard first. That’s 100% the truth. Personally, I want to be heard and taken seriously at work, in the street, hence why I went brunette and stuck with it. What I have to say and my personality is far more important to me than any sexual attention I could ever get from being wolf whistled at etc.
There's a study that say that blondes get paid more than brunettes though
For the record, some famous fair-haired, or "blonde" people who are NOT dummies and who defy the famous "blonde" stereotype .. .

I feel like my personality(shy, introverted, type B) has posed more of a problem for me than any hair color I've had. People tend to try to bully or walk all over non-extroverted people. I've been blonde, light/dark ash, light brown, burgundy, purple, red, and copper. I really haven't noticed much of a difference as far as attention. I've received a fair amount of compliments on all of those colors in the past. I've heard the saying that brunettes are preferable to marry, and red heads/blondes are fun to mess around with.....look I get that everyone has a type, but I can't imagine passing up decent/good people because of their hair color.
I have blonde hair and I feel invisible. But when I changee it to black I got alot of attention from everyone and they actually took me seriously and treated me professionally and not like a stereotype of being dumb when im actually a really smart person.
Sounds like you're just AFFIRMING the stereotypical thinking by DOING THAT.
insnt blonde treated better?

You should also do this with vibrant hair colors. See how people treat you differently if your hair is blue or purple.
Oh I have a lot of stories for that 🙈 Let's just say, I had a lot of memorable encounters with people when I had colorful hair... some positive, some negative
When I dyed my hair brown, everyone ignored me. When I wore a jet black wig, no one made eye contact.
I’m a natural redhead but I have blonde hair right now. Honestly I got a lot more attention as a redhead and I kinda miss it. I think I’m going to go brunette next to try it out!
I always say " Life is too short to look always the same" try out new things and go for it :) Hair always grows back or can always be colored, it is not permanent :D Red, blonde, brown, pink,.. all is fun
You shouldn t change your gorgeous ginger colour, it s most rare...i am raven haired, i ve never had e desire to become blonde
@@ketevandidebuli4611 thank you 😊 it definitely suits me best. Blonde makes me look older and brunette washes me out but I always thought black hair and dark brown is so attractive. I think since I’m a redhead dark hair is exotic to me 😍
@@Ariel-zg2gj ,Haha, well, mother nature knows it better and knows it all...If i was designed as a brunette, so i strongly believe ain t no other color will suit me apart from deep brown or my natural cool black. I love gingers, i love blondes, afros, everyone:)))) Ginger is however the rarest of all and please do not change it:))))) You re our sunshine.
And as i conclusion, i would say us brunettes we re underestimated a bit, which hurts indeed....Just because brunette is most common on the earth, doesn t mean dark can t be pretty
@@ketevandidebuli4611Brunette is the absolute best. Nothing like a raven haired beauty
This video aged well 😂, you're blonde now! Honestly, hair colour to me isn't the first thing I notice when I meet a woman. Maybe it's her smile for me and her hair length rather than colour, the way she dresses, but most importantly, her personality.
I remember the day i got out the hair salon after bleaching it to polar blonde for the first time, people were turning their heads as i was walking down the street and it made me very self conscious lol
When you go blonde you have to deal with the attention and on the days i dont wanna be perceived its a bit exhausting...
Haha, i ve really never ever seen turning heads because bottle blondes:))) Uum maybe builders and taxi drivers only?:))))

Natural dark blonde here, always dyed my hair every colour, from bright blonde to red to brown to black. I think I had great success as a dark brown girl!! 🤓
I never had this problem from natural brown hair, red to blonde I got lots of attention most guys don’t care what hair color you have but I am from the US so it is different.
And they say that Blacks are the only ones with colorism
Now the song "White Horse" is stuck in my head. 😄 Although, that had a different meaning. I actually got the most men wanting to date me when my hair was dyed black, too. I think it was the contrast between my pale skin and dark hair. Maybe it was the same for you?
Most miss universe are darkest hair or dark hair
when in platinum i literally just get stared at “🤩😮” n then when im brunette they don’t make it obvious but still stare cause my face is cute.
This is true, last week i change my hair from yellow blonde to now black.
I got so many complaints from people around me. 😢
After 6 month having dark hair, I am now back to blonde 😅 I should do an update on why. 🙃
I let my hair be natural - that non-colour when you don´t know if you´re dark blond or light brunette - because I needed to heal it and also got some complaints! In a form "sooo, when you start highlights again?", "Light blond look so good on you!", we are talking and they then just "hm hm, so your hair? Start with highlights again already"?
Like... what? What even promp people to tell me again and again that I should go for blonder? "Properly blond" I´m starting to think.
Your so pretty u look like katy Perry ❤
It depends where you are in my opinion
Great video! Also, you remind me SO MUCH of Jane from Breaking Bad 😂❤
I'm naturally brunette but have gone blonde a couple times now and changed up my overall look a lot with different styles and fashions. It's been interesting to see how other people's perception of me affects my self-perception. Not necessarily in a good or bad way, it's just different. I like a big change and it makes me feel refreshed. I enjoy being blonde for different reasons than I enjoy brunette or red but all have been good for the phase of life I was in at the time.
Same, it is interesting to experiment with color and notice the change in people's perception about yourself.
How was your experience with red? I am curious because I want to try a dark red but worried about people’s perception :/
MY question is HOW is it that one isn't allowed to do THIS SAME sort of thing concerning SKIN color anymore but it's apparently acceptable with HAIR color?
How can you compare hair with skin?! Hair color can be changed but skin color cant. And besides people back in the days held slaves with darker skin captive because they are seen as inferior. No one will ever say a racial slur to you if you have brown hair but pale skin. No matter what you think having darker skin will always be worse and more sensetive because this is something that you cant change no matter what and no matter where in the world you go people will absolutely treat you like trash. So please think twice before being so ignorant!!!
People use fake tan to go darker or powder to go lighter
Dark hair = Mmmmmmph. I don’t think that anyone, man, woman, gender neutral, should feel that they are less than. Nobody should feel reduced by how they look.
Maybe it's actually that if that hair colour is well going with the face and making it more attractive then maybe that matters cuz I personally think brunette is better on me than blonde
Btw i ve seen and red many materials about which hair colour ist most attractive to men and i saw everywhere, that only 5% of worlds male population is attracted to jet black, i just laughed 😂😂😂😂😂😂because my hair also stands out a lot, guys...It makes me special...most common and unnoticeable are all the shades of chesnut, brown, not black really.
Really? I saw a study saying brunette was most attractive, namely black hair paired with light eyes
I'm blonde and when I dyed my hair brown, I started getting more attention from everyone when I was blonde not many people noticed me so they just saw me and walked away unless it's friends or family.
Hence why Pretty privilege is really real.
I can make a whole separate video about that 🙃
Has nothing to do with hair color
i don’t see how that’s related to being blonde though.. it’s not like brown hair is considered ugly
Yes, it is real. I have always been ugly, and I can say yes, pretty privilege is real. But being ugly forces you to become a better human being. As you age, you realize some pretty people end up making bad lives for themselves because they over rely on their looks.
I disagree. You can be blond and be „not so pretty“. I think it’s because the Color blond is in your Face…Same if you have a big nose- as long as you have something that stands out then ppl gonna stare. I also Think it’s just coded in our brains as blond isnt the dominant gene but black is, which means its rare to see a natural, very light blond person
Right now I'm a redhead but I am finally letting it go back to my natural color which is dirty blond. I don't like it. It's boring to me. I wish I was a brunette or black hair. The attention I've had being blond wasn't good and I don't want it back.
coming from someone with jet black hair, literally everyone ignores it. the compliments i get are on my hair texture a majority of the time
i’m a blonde and every guy i’ve ever liked said they’d never date a blonde. i’m dying my hair brown soon bcuz that’s what everyone’s type is. sooo idk what this is on about
your experience is unusual then, because many many guys are into blondes lol. i also got more attention when i went blonde. but maybe it depends on the shade too, like platinum blonde vs a natural darker blonde?
@@log794 i’m a dirty blonde. i guess right now high school men are just so immature.
@@jvkesbutterfliesyou're in high school, be chill.. you're young
Omg high-school guys are idiots they don’t know what they want. Wait till college years or after that.
Don't waste your time on people who base potential partners on hair color.
Just wait until you turn grey lol
I had grey hair before 😅 (as a color trend style choice tho haha)
I know this video is old but I wanted to ask are you a natural blonde? Even like dark blonde. I want to dye my hair dark but I can’t find any videos of pale people with natural blonde hair dying it dark to see if it might look good on me. Every pic I look up of dark hair is on people who look like that’s in their natural color family. Sorry if this is random!
I am a natural dark ash blonde! The light blonde hair thay I usually have is bleached once.
@@Jenncysworld thanks for taking the time to respond! You look beautiful in both colors, thanks for your videos x
This is so true
Fair hair is dull and overrated. Dark-haired women are more beautiful especially those who have what Jennifer here has the PULP FICTION, Mia Wallace haircut. Looks so French or even like an anime character.
Don t say silly things! I have naturally bkack hair and i never lacked an attention! Although men everywhere like blondes more, but blondes allways envied my incredible hair!!!Cheap bleached blonde doesn t stand out and i ve never ever seen someone staring at blondes because of this reason only
I love beautiful long black/dark hair. I always envy the girls with hair like that too 😍
@@Jenncysworld Well thank you:)))) Foreigners frequently give a compliment to my hair:))))) And i ve never ever bleached it so far...yep very often i feel insecure despite my being quite attractive, but it doesn t make me run to beauty saloon to make some drastic changes lol:)))))I still think being blonde gives you more chance in privat life and relationships, but whatever, i like me...And i like you too :*
I can tell you that a lot of men look more at black long hair woman than blondes. I love Deep black hair . Look at eva green or megan fox. They look way better than they blonde version
Meghan fox looks amazing as a blonde
rlly? i see blondes get way more compliments than me and i have jet black hair
Is her hair dyed black because i think caucasian dont have real black hair they would either have brunette.
Yes I dyed it black. But is back to blonde by now alreay haha. I had the black hair for about 4months and enjoyed having it during that time.
my dad is caucasian and has jet black hair. it may be less common but definitely possible
@@Jenncysworld ty for the reply...love ya
@@remc0026 okey. I am Asian and it's boring hahaha that's everyone around here is having a black hair . Now with modernization yes highlights and colouring comes but our natural hair all very dark and it's totally boring . Love ya reply too..ty...
@@Jenncysworld good that you like a black hair , it looks good on you . For me I wish I am blonde like Christina Aguilera, lol 🤭😄😄 i heard that Christina also likes her black head once she dyed it black .
Nice vlogg love from India.
I’d say blonde make better leaders but dark haired are more diciplined
