  • At the New Culture Forum's annual conference held over the St. George's Day weekend, we were pleased to hold a hustings for party candidates standing for the London mayoralty and assembly. Howard Cox of the Reform Party and Amy Gallagher of the SDP are both candidates for the London mayoralty. Laurence Fox is standing for the London Assembly. We extended an invitation to Susan Hall, the Conservative Party candidate for the London mayoralty but she was unable to attend.
    The elections take place on 2 May.

Culture is a system of beliefs and behaviours common to a group of people. If we don't have those then we can't communicate with each other, let alone live and work with each other.

As an older woman I’ve always felt safe in the past walking around all parts of London at all hours, but now I wouldn’t dare! Also, after the recent stabbings in Sydney, there is an Australian Federal Government change for all states to follow the Queensland police model of stop and search without a warrant on children and adults, tightening knife laws and convictions, and making parents responsible for children carrying knives. Police presence has been dramatically increased in shopping centres with an agreed proposal for centres to pay a co-payment towards costs. Good luck to all candidates for much loved city of London

In addition, each borough should have a cap on how many immigrants can reside there. Disagree with Laurence, once upon a time we heard church bells all the time,( in Spain they ring if someone in the town dies), so as a Christian I believe we should bring back the church bells, display our pride in our Christian traditions. As for Muslim calls to prayer this should be banned, we've 'kindly' built them Mosques, keep their ideology, it's not a religion, purely within the Mosques, if they don't like that then they go to a Muslim country and leave our shores, post haste

      @@typicalsomeone5073 I suppose you don't think there will be any civil unrest, if or when the start to take the immigration problem seriously? The police are now effectively acting as the private militia of the woke and Islamist movement (as exemplified by the arrest of the "Hamas is a terrorist" placard holder in order to Kowtow to the pro pack Palestinian mob), so unless the right start using the police & state apparatus in the same way to deport, imprison & generally control & enforce the borders, then the mob will simply laugh in our & the law's face.

    • @bengray4149
      @bengray4149 Před měsícem

      @@typicalsomeone5073It is clear the police are now effectively a militia acting on orders from mayor Khan, the Wokerati and Islamists... AKA: two tier policing, as evidenced by the man arrested for pointing out Hamas are a terrorist organisation, the illegal arrest and public torturing of Tommy Robinson, police officers taking the knee etc. The sort of civil unrest that will or would flow if enforcing UK borders were ever to be properly enforced does not bear thinking about and would have to be met with some form of martial law, that would make lockdown look like a picnic, with the state having to weed out, by decree, armies of Woke brainwashed police and civil servants. Ergo, more state intervention not less.
