These guys are in a new band they formed called Erra. It's extremely intense shit. Most people don't realize it's these guys. The album they put out in 2011 was probably one of the best releases of 2011.

One of my favorite guitar solos, one of my favorite breakdowns, and as sad as it is that this band didnt make more music under the name By Blood and Iron, they did however make more under another name. One of my favorites, ERRA.
Can’t believe this is erra now.
Its not just ERRA. a few guys from this band went on to be in ERRA. Other members came from Even Idols DIe, Broadcast the Nightmare and Woe is Me. They just made a Super Group. I miss the old Alabaster/Pelham/ Birmingham Alabama Metal Scene.
That's why I liked Erra so much but By Blood and Iron despite their short period were one of my favorite bands of the genre. You must be proud of your friend! Cheers lml

fun facts: no one in this band is now apart of A Thing About Machines, Jesse and the dudes from Erra and the other members of By Blood And Iron + their friends and fans even got into an argument with the dudes in A Thing About Machines and annoyed the fuck out of them because their song Five Characters In Search of An Exit rips off this song sooooo bad.

the members that are now in Erra are Jesse the guitarist, Alex the drummer and Adam the keyboard player(played bass for Erra).

i love this band simply due to the fact that you rarely come across a song where you don't stop saying damn, and dropping your jaw the whole song. there's usually that part you just don't like in the song, and you skip it. this song, every second, is fucking godly.

Unlike most bands in this genre, this band actually tried and suceeded and doing something creative and original. All of their breakdowns took thought to make, and the vocalist doesn't overdue it with high pitched screaming. It's a really sad thing when bands like this break up. They could have been the new leading face in a boring world of deathcore.
If any new and up coming bands watch this video and read my comment, please try to emulate this band. Because they did it RIGHT.
