- The new Peugeot 208 is a supermini with some serious style! This brand new 2020 model is available with petrol, diesel or fully electric power. As you'll be able to tell from this in-depth first impressions/review, I was majorly impressed by this little hatchback and reckon that regardless of powertrain choice, this is a car that people will love!

I got my gtline 130 in September, absolutely love it! Little bit slow after 60mph but easily the best car I've had so far! Previous car was a 208 gti prestige so that's saying a lot!

Massive massive fan of these. Saw one in the dealership the other day and love the three part claw lights front and rear along with the saber tooth light. Interior is really nice too, pricey but lots of kit for the money. Hopefully you'll be able to compare old to new soon 😉. Well constructed review mate.

I adore the look of it. I would 100% strongly consider getting one as my next car. Sure it has some drawbacks (not as practical as rivals and has some quirks), but for me the way it looks and makes you feel, more than outweighs any downsides to it. I love it.

Getting one next year. Love this car and interior the interior has a bit of a lamborghini feel to it in my opinion especially the air vents an amazing car

Awaiting delivery on my vertigo blue e208! I opted for the sunroof but have recently learnt it doesnt open :( great video by the way happy to see a British review rather than one with a left handed drive!

I pick up mine at the end of the month. Almost the same spec, but I opted for the manual (a little bit cheaper) Test drove it beforehand and I enjoyed the comfort of the drive. Great video
One thing I might ask, does the GT Line have driving modes? Eco? City? Sport?

how would you say the experience was driving the automatic in manual mode? I'm getting mine in November most likely, but I couldn't test drive an auto version because they didn't have one available. I've heard nothing but good reactions about the general driving behaviour of this 8 speed, but I'm mainly interested in the use of the paddles

Was this the normal GT or the GT premium
A lot of reviewers have an issue with the steering wheel blocking view of the dash but I’ve had my 208 for over 2 weeks now and it doesn’t block my view whatsoever and I have my seat quite back and low. It all depends on the person! Don’t let the steering wheel cloud your judgement on buying this! The only issue I have is the glovebox It is tiny compared to when Peugeot’s cars are left hand drive!

I must say I'm a hating this trend for the low position front headlights I mean it's looking more like a Vauxhall Corsa these days bring back the Peugeot feline high mounted lights of yesterday.
Take a shot everytime he says "Corsa" lmao. Great informative video, otherwise.

What is it with keep mentioning the Corsa. Its a totally diffrent car and people will like what they like. Personally I think this car is leagues above the Corsa. Litrally had to turn this video off after you said Corsa for about the 30th time 🙄
Ahumm, it's not a little super mini anymore, it's grown over the years and is now a medium family car. A super mini is more like a Toyota Aygo these days. All cars have got bigger and bulkier lately and they're not really representing their class anymore. The Peugeot maybe quite small inside but then again so is the Land Rover Evoque and the Toyota c-hr and look at the size of them its all padding.
