If Nardwuar is there, I'm gonna check out the music. If the interviewee is engaged on his level, it's guaranteed to hit even harder. EVERYTIME!!! P.S. Laufey, best outro yet?!
She’s so humble. It’s almost like she doesn’t even know she’s a celebrity, she’s just so down to earth. Love her music and she deserves all her success:))
It’s why her fans live her so much, so doesn’t act like a celebrity at all, she is really easy to connect with, all her personal posts are super funny and memed out completely
you couldn't have stumbled upon a better interview style. Nardwuar really gets the most out of everyone he talks to whether they want to or not. He just seems to know everything about their past while staying inquisitive and trying to explore the pure love they have for music and pop culture that sculpted them
Im so happy for Laufey! I e been following her probably a year before she even announced her debut album and its been incredible watching her career take off like a rocket! A beautiful soul through and through.
Dude I noticed Nardwar leaving the theatre too!!! I was standing right above the sound booth and I noticed a dude walking into the booth with an awesome looking hat and started filming a portion of one of her songs. As he was leaving I did a quadruple take, suddenly realizing that it was none other than Nardwar himself!!! Such an unforgettable memory among an already unforgettable concert
I LOVE LAUFEY!!! I'm so happy she blew up but now she's not my little secret artist anymore 😭. I was so sad that I couldn't get tickets to see her in SF but I'm determined for next year!!!
The gifts for the artists, from obscure memories like how could you possibly know this, is a brilliant move. It suddenly makes the interaction so novel. Love these
I hadn't heard of Laufey until this interview. Just checked out some tunes, very nice! Thanks Nardwuar for turning me onto this! I'm a fan my man. You always give the best interviews. I love when you blow their minds. What I don't love is when they are rude to you. Keep on rockin' in the free world brothah.
Both of their personalities are so infectiously joyful. I had a smile on my face throughout the entire interview. I love that Laufey is helping jazz and classical come back!
@@drda1626 that's a really cool opinion! Unfortunately Laufey has had the largest JAZZ album release in digital streaming history, which indicates a) she's jazz and b) jazz is on the up, partially due to her contributions. You can tell how passionate she really is about music and jazz as a whole . As someone who makes music it reminds me of when I first started making music .I would rave about artists technical talents and how sonically their music was so special . Going on about how some songs were so underrated compared to their entire discography. Laufey is def a favorite 💀
