    Awesome follow up Vid. Thanks for the shout out.I haven't even received my Urb-E yet but I am enjoying the vids. They said there was a small backorder and should ship by the weekend. Your new light setup looks clean, I may try that eventually.I was also about to order the yak strap handle based on your previous vid but since you mentioned there may be one coming from Urb-e soon, I guess I'll wait a little to see what it is. As for the Suitcase idea it looks like the handlebar may be the biggest problem. If the whole handlebar assembly is easy to remove then that may be the way to go. A little setup (4 screws I believe) once you arrive at your destination and booom!.... off you go.

      hey, welcome to the URB-E family! post some pics/vids once it comes in! ya they are working on a lot of accessories right now so you may want to wait. the handlebar does come off fairly easy but the issue is with the cabling that runs through it as that cannot be easily disconnected. with the dimensions of that case, the handlebar would need to completely detach and flip upside down in the case. I'm working on it! :)

      +NoS URB-EMaybe figure a way to put some connectors in place. I guess the one that would not work well would be the brake cable though. Hmm, I know you'll come up with something :-)

      So i cracked the issue with fitting the handlebar in the case...and...without having to disconnect the cables. It fits in there really nice. I'll do a video about it this weekend!

    Nice videos. Have you thought of the two major performance mods instead of cosmetic ones? Eg, Battery upgrade or motor upgrade? Faster speed and longer lasting battery?

      Hi there! Yes, I've considered performance upgrades, but they aren't along the lines of motor or battery upgrades as the choices that come from Urban626 are fairly well optimized so you'd be giving up one or the other (speed vs distance). I recently had them upgrade the controller to the "animal style" model that comes with the Black and that has noticeably more pep. Urban626 makes their own batteries to output at 36v to match the motor (fairly common setup between manufacturers). The possible improvement could be to go higher voltage in both battery and motor... or add another motor?... maybe on the back?... ;-)

      I have something in the works, but don't want to get too ahead of myself publicly... to avoid foot in mouth if it doesn't work out... But as a tease... it involves an additional motor, battery, some carbon fiber and +5 lbs. (~28mph, added range, burnouts?) =)
      Stay tuned and check out my Instagram and our new Fan Forum www.urb-e.club/forum as I'll probably be posting at those spots before a video goes up.

    Also. Have you see. The stigo scooter? How would you compare them?

    • @NoSURBE
      @NoSURBE Před 8 lety

      the stigo is probably the most comparable to the URB-E on specs and performance, but at twice the cost, i think I'll stick to US made! :)
      i remember reading about it a while ago, have they been able to ship any out yet? I'd be curious to do a real life comparison, but it is a bit heavier and taller when folded than the URB-E, which is no biggie, but the number one and two things for me are customizability and serviceability. how much can i add/replace myself and how easy is it to get it fixed, because everything breaks eventually. though, the URB-E seems to not want to break... I've been trying. lol. and as far as customizing... well... that's all I've been doing since i got it! if you've seen my other videos...

      oh and earlier you had asked about performance... after doing some research I've found a kit that can get me to 25mph and add range... and should be bolt on. you can see that on my Instagram. but I'm working on something cheaper and faster as well for the far future. i want to get the current kit on and working first.

      +NoS URB-E definitely watching and following. Curious how it will look when on the scooter, feel and sound. Curious to the cost and installation too
