I love this video. It gives me the motivation I need. I lost my cleaning routine 6 yrs ago after a back surgery failed. So it takes me so long to clean now. What used to be done in 3 hrs now takes days to clean my whole apt, which isn't that big. But I am trying to get it bk. So now I found myself watching these videos to give me the motivation. I jus don't know where to begin anymore because I'm so overwhelmed with looking at how my place used to look so clean to now it's all clutter. My son now is 20 but he don't help at all. I need the motivation an inspiration to get me bk to where I was. You have a beautiful home. Ty for posting this video. I now subscribed to your channel, an do look forward to seeing more. Good back ground music. I like these kind of videos. My dad actually helped me wash my kitchen floor this afternoon. We got a stain off the floor. My dad noticed my kitchen sink drain was leaking. (I live in an apartment), so I filled out a maintenance request form.

Hi Sara! Just saw your Sunday Routine video. Hahaha 😄 Loved it. Liked it and subscribed. I'll be watching more (as time & battery life permits). I'm a SAHM with 4yo twin girls. Noticed how nicely you looked while working around the home. Would love some motivation videos in fitting in some time to put ourselves together to avoid the frump look.
Thanks! I'm glad you're here! Twin girls? How wonderful!!! :) Thanks for the compliment. Sometimes life calls for the frump look. But, I will do a video on how I whip myself together in less than 5 minutes at some point. With 4 kids, I've got down a pretty solid routine. While they're getting their shoes on, I basically use that time to get myself presentable before walking out the door for carpool in the mornings.

Awesome I loved this video. You said you may do a video about how you figured out how to make the cleaning flow, Mary poppins, a good start, something like that? Make everything trickle down...Lol? Have you made that video yet? I would love to see it but can't find it. I also have 4 kids and I struggle with picking up after them but when you talk about the result of waking up in the morning to a clean house etc... That clicked with me. Thanks so much.

Hi! Loved your video, I too do all bedding on Sunday! Best feeling taking a shower in the evening and shaved legs on brand new clean sheets...ahhh nothing better. Quick question: what is the square thing on your dresser next to the tv? I thought maybe a fish tank but then you moved it and dusted it. I'm very OCD but I love watching how others do things to learn new things, Thanks! ☺️

It's from the Laura Ashely quilt collection. In fact, here it is: www.amazon.com/Laura-Ashley-Saltwater-Reversible-Quilt/dp/B00SCVSG6O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464316603&sr=8-1&keywords=laura+ashley+saltwater++quilt :) I use an old quilt from a white quilt set I got from JCPenny years ago. I fold the Laura Ashley quilt and take it off the bed at night. So, we use the white quilt (with the flat sheet) to sleep with. I do this because there's so many stitchings in these quilts that the threads break with too much use. So, to preserve the life of the top quilt, I only use it during the day when it's not being used. (Even when the kids come in to watch a movie, or whatnot, on my bed during the day.. I fold the top quilt down to the end of the bed so the stitches don't get stressed)
Im curious why do you use two fitted sheets on your beds instead of just one? I have never seen or heard anything about that before and I am intrigued!
+Heidi Stewart Hello, Heidi! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I use a fitted mattress protecter for each of the beds that goes under the fitted sheet. I wash them once a week when I wash all of the bedding. :)

No, they were stanley furniture. But, they have similar pieces at IKEA!

Good music! Do you move everything to dust once a week...OMG, if you do please tell me how you get the “motivation” to do it? That part besides cleaning a toilet seems like the worst part of cleaning. LOL. Your video is very motivating!
I have made it easier on myself (in regards to dusting) by keeping my large surface areas free of clutter.
