My dog went missing last month. She was gone Friday afternoon and we didn’t find her until Tuesday night. I swear the pain in my heart was unbearable cause I was so sure she was eaten by a coyote cause she’s been spotted in a field then hadn’t been seen at all for the last 2 days she was gone, plus it started snowing. I think the grief someone can feel over a dog can be just a strong as if you were to lose any other family member

After the boy went off to school that morning, mom got a call from the shelter that the dog had been found. She rushed over to get the dog in time to pick up her son. I believe that is what I read.
