Med School Interview Series: Why DO?

Hey everyone!
I wanted to start a series of videos that would be easy to make but helpful for interviews, so I'm going to share my recommendations for what you should think about when approaching common interview questions! I think in the future I will answer two questions at a time to make the videos a little longer.
Today's question is: Why DO / Why osteopathic medicine? I also talk a little bit about the history of osteopathic medicine, OMM, and the differences between a DO and an MD.

Thank you for sharing! I’m applying for DO School this cycle! I am interested in family health and have seen just a lot of chronic disease in my family due to life style and miseducation so I am really drawn to that aspect and emphasis of DO school!
