I know everything can't be in the list, but I would add a shoehorn. It changed how I care my shoes!
Greetings from Bilbao, Brian!
GREAT addition. Thanks for chiming in, Ander! We've actually got some in the HSS Shop that are great for home use. Natural horn made for us by Abbeyhorn: shop.hespokestyle.com/collections/exclusive/products/abbeyhorn-14-inch-shoe-horn
Can just use the tip of a belt...

Literally the highest quality of style videos on CZcams! Thank you Brian!
You're very kind Andreas. Appreciate the comment and you're welcome!
That outfit at 3:21. THAT's how you match colors. Thanks for sharing.
Ah, thanks! Appreciate that!
This guy knows what he’s taking about. Thanks for uploading.
Personally, I would prefer an umbrella to a flashlight. Seems more likely to need an umbrella. Also, they can be quite gentleman'esk.
What are smartphones for ??
Solid stick full length umbrella is one of the most classic item a man can have the honor of owning.
@@Sohanjs exactly
I use my flashlight nearly every day. It rains less often here, but to each their own.
The only gent on the Tube who does gents' style right. No fashion victim-hood . No "LOOK AT ME, EVERYONE" Piti peacocking. No "funky spunksta" doltishness. Instead, a uniquely classical approach: Understated, elegant masculinity. These looks simply cannot go out of fashion. Salute.
This video made me realised how much I have grown. All thanks to content creators like you. I have all 15 accessories in my arsenal. One thing I do believe a guy should also have is a power bank.
“Watches should be within your budget”
*shows an AP*
lol
I really love your channel man. I've gotten so used to wearing a black t shirt black jeans and just calling it a day that I've limited myself from all these really clean upgrades. You really make men's fashion accessible, thanks dude.
Skx in the sport watches advices, love it!
It's a great option!
Please do consider the SRP, even though SRP is large, it sits extremely well on small wrists with its curved case and the lug to lug length is only around 46mm. I like my watches to also have hand winding capability so that I can quickly charge it if I'm not going to wear it for 2 or more days at a stretch.
Oh, man. Way too large for me. My wrist is 6.5".
This channel is for men such as myself who love their clothes. You obviously have a great knowledge of style and how to apply important details. I have heard the saying "last thing on, first thing noticed". That is why like most men I love my watches. I have recently brought a pocket watch from a vintage store and it really adds a certain something to my three piece suits. Any man with a passion for sartorial classic style and requires some guidance I would without doubt recommend your channel.
I think he is the man with the most authority to talk about style on CZcams. I would only add to this video as option 16, some good fragrances. Hug from Chile.
Great list, Brian! The one thing I always feel like I'm missing when traveling is a pocket knife. It's surprising how many times it comes in handy. Also, sometimes I feel like I'm the only guy I know who carries a handkerchief anymore.
A hankie! Nice! I've been meaning to grab some myself.
I liked that you featured a Chris Reeves Sebenza 21, I have one and they’re well worth their price tag.
Awesome! Good to know!
So glad you mentioned the knife! I carry my grandfather’s vintage pocket knife, like all men carried in the good ole days. Had it sharpened by a local sharpener and it’s perfect!
Honestly for anything leather I really recommend “Maxwell Scott” gives you a great quality product, long warranty on all their leather (think it’s around 25 years) and offers personalisation which I think is always a nice touch. I buy all my stuff from them now for wallets, bags etc whenever I need something or want a gift. They’re not cheap but not astronomically expensive either. If you want to save some money and get a good looking weekend bag they have canvas and leather options that still look great but drop the price a pretty fair amount.
I will add I don’t know how long shipping to US will take though but I’d really look at the site if you’re shopping around for something, personally I think it’s worth the wait
One of the very first leather briefcases I owned was from Maxwell Scott. Really nice stuff. Thanks for the comment.
I personally have 2 Silver Parker Ballpoint Pens, which are both very elegant and stylish that goes incredibly well with my Suit wearing and Smart Casual attires respectively.
The two recommendations that I like the most are the two things I have the least and that are the Leather Briefcase and a Leather Travel Weekend Bag. Two things I will invest in soon. Looks more stylish than me tooting around a backpack that doesn't fit with my dressy look. Thus i also appreciate all the links in the vid above to all the places to find the items shown and especially the leather items.
Thank you for this video lovely! I have been searching for gift ideas for my partner as he is notoriously difficult to buy for. The pocket square is a fantastic option for men who want to make their outfits a little dressier but struggle with sensory issues - my partner hates wearing anything around the neck! Along with both the silk and cotton options I am also considering another white square with a minimalist pattern in his favourite colour teal.
One more idea-backpacks. I invested in a Tumi nylon Alpha series backpack for around $550. With packing cubes, I can get four days of travel in. However, Dopp kits don't work in this situation so I add in two ziplock quart-sized freezer bags. The freezer types are durable and flexible. The bags mold to whatever storage space is left. I add in th ventilated sock/underwear packing cube and the large shirt/pants packing cube and I wind up have enough space for my Nikon D750 as I often get paid to take photos at audio events. I was a McKinsey consultant for six years so I learned how to travel light and with a minimum of fuss.
+1 for the Fisher Space Pen. Love mine, and have used it EDC for 10+ years.
Nice! I've got a bullet. Does yours have the pocket clip?
Been following you for years and really like your style. I honestly didn't expect you to list flashlights and knives as most important accessoriers. Got to say that I am pleasantly surprised. Keep up the great work! :)
I feel we can improvise on the flashlight because of our mobile phones can provide this function.
Thanks for the list. Appreciates :)
The following are some of my suggestions.
1. Rolex 18K Day-Date 40mm with champagne diamonds dial.
2. Montblanc 18K Vermeil Le Grand one Fountain Pen and one rollerball pen.
3. 21K Platinum Bracelet, at least 10mm wide. Along with a 2 carats emerald cut diamond platinum ring.
4. Bespoke suits from Savile row, Lobdon, UK. 3 winter suits in Super 160, and 2 spring suits in mix of silk and linen.
5. 1 dozens of Customs made shirts with sea island cotton in sky blue. Yes french cuffs only. Same color personal initials on cuffs and pocket.
6. 6 pairs of Cufflinks by Tiffany, ST Dupont, or Dunhill. Preferably in silver or platinum with gold accents.
7. Rolex 18 K GMT with blue dial for travels and weekends.
8. 3~4 pairs of Prada sunglasses.
9. At least two Cold Steel Ti-lite folding knives. One with 6” blade for special occasions, another with 4” blade for daily wear.
10. American Express Centurion Black card.
My favorite things.
1. A case pocket knife.
2. A shoe shine valet box.
3. A traditional cutthroat straight razor with an hand tied badger knot brush and artisan shaving soap. My grandmother Bessie used to say that the only things a man owes the world is a shoeshine, haircut, and a shave. Yep.
Nice! Thanks for chiming in, Darryl!
Is there a specific valet box you recommend? I've seen the Brooks Brothers one recommended before but I haven't dug too much into the choices available.
Yeah, let me know as well!
@@hespokestyle Gentlemen.
The best ones came out in the 60's by Esquire. If you find those on Ebay, buy them. A second choice would be to buy the box by Kiwi, throw the shoe polish and brushes out and get Lincoln or Saphir shoe polish and a good horsehair brush. As a USMC veteran, I favor Lincoln.
I also like to have a stylish, classic umbrella...such as those made by Fox. It can really complement an outfit on those rainy days.
One of those videos you can watch all over and over again...
Every time you release a new video I’m blown away by how underrated this channel is. Best style channel on CZcams? Unbelievable.
Thanks so much for those nice words, Cole. We're growing relatively quickly, I'd say? Just going to keep doing what we do and putting out quality rather than quantity. If we could up our posting cadence, we would, but we first on all cylinders to get two a week!
As a world traveler I find a portable scale is a must have. I’m an American that lives in Germany and is traveling all over the place and find that I pull it out every time I travel to make sure my luggage meets whichever carriers weight restrictions.
Like a personal scale to weigh yourself?
He Spoke Style haha no. To weigh my luggage. Depending on the carrier they enforce the weight and all enforce the weight on checked bags. And it helps to have a scale to make sure 1. Your bags are in weight before the trip and 2. Are definitely in weight for the flight home after you’ve done all the clothes shopping. Lol sometimes I have to adjust stuff to make weight. Clothes are heavy. Lol
@@pgreen0001 Ah! Interesting! Never thought of that.
Thanks Brian. I really loved each and every one of your videos. Pragmatic, to the point and really great content.
Best men's style channel. Everything is perfect. Congratulations
You’re very kind, Ricardo. Thanks so much for the support.
Great video,
A white linen pocket square has served me well from office to evening.
Personal choice but I am not a fan of the tie bar. Recently I have been looking into a quality umbrella, as I am tired of using and frequently replacing cheap umbrellas. A quality umbrella is a gentlemen must have.
Thanks, Steve
The pen, A MUST! and go Mont Blanc.....and a pair of classic cufflinks........Lots of nice ideas!
Yeah, I love my Meisterstuck. Thanks for the comment, Simon!
Montegrappa too and piquadro for leather goods
Awesome advice as usual Bryan 🙏🏻 thank you . My friends and I (from Thailand) love your Channel.. You keep it true with how a gentleman should Style and more . Really appreciate your Doing. Great Karma. Again Thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks, as always, Pidha. Really appreciate the support from all of you!
Really enjoying your channel Brian. It's inspiring me to look my best. I have some off the rack suits from Men's Wearhouse, have ordered some made to measure from Indochino and Oliver Wicks and am now trying to decide between something a little different from Pini Parma or go full bespoke with LA's Art Lewin.
I believe I was the first one to like this video. I made sure that I finish this before leaving a comment.
Speaking of pens, a $20 Pilot MR fountain pen looks elegant for its pricepoint.
I also love the all-silver steel Parker Jotter ballpoint pens. Agent 007 approved!
Awesome! Thanks for the recommendations, Arthur.
He Spoke Style My pleasure, Brian!
Great call on Syderco Sage 1 with Carbon Fiber . Best lock too!
Fantastic, love this ! Great fan of yours over these few months . Would def check the pocket squares
Thanks so much, Sharad! Appreciate the continued support.
#7 Briefcase: I have a Bellroy and Jack Spade briefcase. Both Tan color. Both discontinued. Both give me that sharp look with my suits.
For a flashlight I use a mini Maglite. can be kept anywhere and does the job!
Love the video, and extra thumbs up for not leaving out the Tie Bar, Thanks Brian!
Thanks, Soheil! Appreciate you chiming in.
I must tell you this is by far my favorite men’s style channel! I watched your Miami video 8x!
Darrell Foster that’s amazing! Thank you! I personally love that video as well. We worked super hard for that one.
Longchamp has some great and quite affordable weekenders...
Thanks for leaving that rec.
Hey Brian,
What brands would you recommend for ties? I’ve been a fan of Hermès for a while, though their patterns may be a little loud for your taste.
Personally, I really like Drake's and Viola Milano.
I’d add handkerchiefs to the list. It’s old fashioned yet very considerate and should be brought back, IMO. I’ve recently had a few with my initials monogrammed on.
You're great my man. Just saw one of your videos in my recommendations and I cant stop watching you're videos. Keep up the good work
This guy is so influential he once increased Swiss GDP by 1% after recommending a particular watch.
LOL!
I never subscribe to anything after watching one video. But history was made the other day as I clicked subscribe after my first time watching his video (Suit Supply). His full transparency is captivating.
GDP 🤣. I means good for him. There is a place for it. Just depends on who’s buying .
Invicta?
I'd add an Umbrella for those of us who don't live in nicer climates.
For a small travel flashlight it's hard to beat the Fenix HM50R. I got it as a gift and it's outstanding. Very small, incredibly bright, and can be converted in to a headlamp if required.
For a knife l recomend a leathetman micro. It's so small you can have it on you always and it has everything you need including a decent pair of scissors
Great video! Lots of learning. Could you go deeper about pocket square, like how to pair, how to choose fabric, how to fold, etc
Fantastic video! I always have a lighter and matching card cigar cutter (the latter goes in my wallet). Funny thing is, I do not smoke. I have lit quite a few cigars and cigarillos for friends! The lighter has really come in handy for emergencies.
Great list of necessities. Is there an advantage of cotton over linen for a white pocket square or is that personal preference?
a few of the ones i use: pocket knife- gerber makes good and inexpensive flip blades. They also have a lifetime warranty and will send you a new one if it breaks in any way. Also Light: surefire as really good handheld small flashlights that are more robust but not too expensive as well.
Pocket knife. While single blade ‘flippers’ are the most common in the past decade... I carry a traditional 3.5” Case 2 blade pocket knife or the same size Swiss Army multi tool (not. Model # guy sorry). The Case knife was my father in laws, so has ton of sentimental value but also is such an efficient EDC.
GREAT VIDEO!
That's awesome. Thanks for chiming in, Chris.
Great list of essentials Brian.
I agree with card case instead of wallet. My addiction would be a good money clip. I use a M-clip, best IMO.
Cheers 🥂
Thanks for the comment! I used to carry an M-Clip! Might need to break it out again!
I found a leather wrapped card case on Amazon. It comes with the “card eject” feature. I’d seen more expensive versions in menswear stores, but thought that I’d gamble the $20. Two years later, it shows no wear at all - works perfectly. It looks good and best of all, its eliminated the dreaded “George Costanza Wallet” syndrome.
Hahaha. Yes, we should all aspire to avoid the Constanza wallet!
That's some awesome inspiration! I definetly need a briefcase and some wristwatches. I love how frequently you publish videos this year! :-)
Many thanks! We're going to keep it up.
Dopp kit is what I learnt about today.
Hey Brian! Love your videos. Was just wondering what is your opinion on smartwatches? Thank you!
The Roségold tie bar is AMAZING - getting into dressing up - was looking for some Roségold accessory's - subbed :)
Nice! Thanks so much. I like rose gold myself.
Thanks for the Frank Clegg weekend bag recommendation on one of our previous vids. not disappointed at all
Awesome! Thanks so much, Martin. It's great. I love mine.
What watch are you wearing in this video? It looks soo amazing!!!
14 out of 15 I would say that I am doing pretty good! I love wearing scarves during this season so I am glad that they, were one of your items on this list... also a pen. I can not count the times that I have had to loan mine out because the person next to me did not have one.
Isn't it nice to be the one to do that?
@@hespokestyle yeah it really is.
A very good list! A flashlight can actually be a great tool for Selfdefence.. By waiting for the right moment and then flashing an attacker up close, its a surprise defence and its not likely to make the defender end up in court...as long as the lumen nr is moderate..
Hi Brian, I have a creative job in a casual office environment and was considering a slim leather briefcase to carry my MacBook and a few papers around. Which colour would recommend? Do you think navy is versatile enough? Would you recommend matching the case with the colour of leather shoes and belt? I was considering the Smythson Panama Slim Lightweight Briefcase in Navy. Thanks!
Wow, fantastic glasses look! 🔥
Really enjoyed this video and your channel in general. Definitely in the market for a quality weekend bag and Frank Clegg was such a good recommendations. Wish it had silver hardware though. The search goes on 🤨. Keep up the good job.
AMAZING VIDEO SIR! Love these videos. Keep em coming!
Many thanks, Natanael! Appreciate the comment and support.
On pocket knives, check out the Civivi Elementum. Sub-$100 price, great quality, and versatile design that can be dressed up in my opinion.
Nice. Thanks for the rec.
Hi Brian, thanks for the video. I really like your brown knitted jumper. Lovely colour. What make / style is it?
You're welcome, John! Sweater is by Black Brown 1826: bit.ly/39xTE3M
Nicely done. Great choices.
This is a great video, I like the flashlight suggestion as I carry several Fenix's around now to do it with a suit maybe thats why I need a briefcase lol.
Outstanding list, thank you. I also own a burgundy grenadine tie to change things up. Cheers!
Nice! Which brand?
@@hespokestyle Drakes.. simply beautiful tie.
Great video! What color was the Frank Clegg briefcase?
TrojanMars1 many thanks! Chocolate.
Really cool video- if you don’t mind me asking, where are your glasses from? I love them!
Many thanks, Kevin. They're from Cubitts: bit.ly/2GhgaRm
Great suggestions. Would you please identify the long wallet shown on min 6.11 of the video ? Thanks
Nice pick! Agree 💯 %
Thanks so much! Appreciate the comment.
Linen is honestly the 2nd one you should get over cotton. Cotton is for handkerchieves and doesn’t wrinkle as nicely as linen.
Awesome video! Great recommendations. Was that a Chris Reeves knife you flashed in there?👍
Thanks so much, John! Yes, good eye! That was a Sebenza.
This video is everything❤️
Fabulous and well presented
While it could be argued that they aren't accessories, a good hat and overcoat can boost your style significantly. Also a cape(if you can afford it and find a formal one) and formal gloves are great options that I plan to eventually get.
Some serious additions there!
My question about wearing a cape is, how do you go about wearing one without looking over-the-top or cartoonish?
@@cityhawk Nice question! That's why it's so hard to find a good formal cape. I recommend to look on Etsy. Try to mimic styles of characters you think look badass but adjust it so that it's not an obvious cosplay. Then again, my leather jacket is exactly like the 9th Doctor's. I guess just try to tell if it is too synonymous with a character than a character just wearing something cool.
absolutely with the bags i ordered a barbour one and a goyard bag
The knifes beautiful.
Thank you.
Ron M you’re welcome!
Great video, as always. Nicely explained. Like the way you've listed the items in the video for one can go back & listen to it again 👍🏻
Sweet! You mean that it's indexed in the description? Glad you like that. Been doing it for all videos recently.
@@hespokestyle Yes that's what I meant.
Awesome. Glad that's helpful.
I think hats should be included as well. But I think some of the guys may exclude hats from accessories and categorize it as clothing. BTW, if I would choose a pen from signing for bill which I think i wont need to, I would choose some demi size pen such as the demi size Parker 51, or more modern choice-------the capless foutain pen, Pilot Capless which allows you to press out the nib immediately which is kind of cool.
Yeah, I toyed with the idea of a hat, but not everyone is comfortable wearing one. Appreciate the pen recs.
Nice video as usual! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
I use my Omega Seamaster as my daily beater watch, PP 5396 for work.
Very good list and a wonderful video as always. Although I have to disagree with you in case of the wallet. In Germany we still can not use our cards in a lot of places, so having a wallet (even with a pocket for coins) is absolutely necessary.
By the way, I just ordered a Montblanc pen because of your videos ;)
Thanks for the comment, Philipp. Appreciate you chiming in.
Try Mag Solitaire LED for everyday carry, as it has small form factor, good brightness and long life with different colors.
Great video.
Perfect 👌🏼
Many thanks, Rodrigo!
Hi Brian :)
What watch are you wearing in this video?
I enjoyed all the suggestions.
Cheers
Thanks, Amir. It's the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle.
He Spoke Style Thanks for the quick reply...
I love this VC! is yours the boutique edition guilloche dial or regular?
I may choose between this VC, ALS Saxonia thin 37, Piaget Altiplano 38mm, or an entry level PP Calatrava (hobnail).
My current collection is quite small
DJ36 Oyster, Smooth bezel blk roman

Hey Brian, great channel and I love your content and the presentation. In your duffle segment you show a black leather duffle bag but do not list it in the link section. Looks like a nice back and I'd like to check it out. Recently purchased the FG duffle based partly on your recommendation. Keep it up Brian!
What's the bag at 4:23? and thanks for the informative video as always
I like the idea to buy some good classic items instead of following every trend. Good Video.
Many thanks. Appreciate you chiming in.
I like driving gloves and a classic umbrella.
#Elegant #stylish #accessories #Fashion #tips #shop #enjoy, Thanks
Great list Brian!
Could you do a video on your shoe collection and maybe show us your wardrobe as well? Cheers!
Shoe collection definitely in the works. Will do an updated closet tour hopefully in the next couple of months.
@@hespokestyle great, looking forward to that! And I just wanted to tell you that I bought my first PROPER pair of dress shoes - medium brown double monks from meermin. I'm loving looking at it, can't wait to start using it. Haha!
Nice! Great choice!

Hopefully within a month. Collection videos take quite a while to shoot!
Nice cable knit crewneck!!
Thanks, Asif! Appreciate the kind words.
