Jeff's Aussie made Chrysler Valiant 1965 AP6 review. Small block solid 273 V8 automatic, TF 904 sedan with finned drum brakes. Similar car to USA Plymouth Valiant & Barracudas.
Filmed on the Central Coast NSW in 1997. Dave Cleverly and Jeff Andersen decided to spontaneously whip up this quick video one afternoon on the way home from a big day of freelance TV News Crew media work for the TV stations. There were no rehearsals for this Valiant clip whatsoever ... just shoot and "action" :)
(From memory we had just been to the Hunter Valley Vineyards and had lunch with, and interviewed the Aussie PM at the time John Howard) The 2 same version solid cam 273's later WON their class at Mt Panorama BATHURST in the next 1966 VC V8 Valiant model AUTOMATICS! These were driven straight out of the show room stock standard and they came in together straight behind the leading Full race trim lightweight Minis that year. Every other car was way behind the Aussie Vals!
