For me I discovered BTS when Blood Sweat & Tears came out, I only saw a tiny bit of the song on a video and JK's pose and peaceful appearance on the swing stuck me😂I didn't know they were popular or who each members were.

DNA era looks are so beautiful but V owned that era it was first time he came out like this with silver hairs and one earring ...he gor so viral people were amazed by his beauty ...he was given title of CGI BOY of his unrealistic looks ....this was the first song they perfomed in us bbma and suga said he was too afraid and nervous that bts is growing huge ...as his initial plan was to be a music producer after bts ...but at this point bts became so huge and he cried before / after perfoming it live in bbmas for the first time ....the locals said they lip synced cause it was first time they sae a group dancing and singing at the same time it shook them .
when i first heard bts , v became my bias because of DNA 😅 actually they all were look bit same to me that time. so I didn't care about beauty. but attracted to V's deep voice. whatever they all are so talented and I appreciate all of them a lot.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

This song actually made their career (even) bigger internationally. They made their first US TV debut with performing DNA at 2017 American Music Awards.
I know it can be confusing because BTS won their first BBMA for Top Social Artist in 2017 (without performing). It was actually at the AMAs later that year that they performed DNA. The song they performed at the BBMAs in 2018 was Fake Love. 😉

DNA is the song that changed many ARMYs' fates and dragged them into BTS..V's voice in the beginning and that middle part, always gives me goosebumps..He really looked atherial and an anime character in the mv..
This song was my 1st comeback. Imagine how I went crazy when this MV was released and V/Taehyung (my bias) got gray hair for the 1st time ever! He looks like a living doll or anime. 😭
Love the combo of MV + dance practice!!❤❤❤❤ It's truly the best way to appreciate the choreo, and I can tell you all really enjoy it just the way ARMYs do.... Dance practice videos are a MUST for us! In the old days BTS would often release two MVs for the same song, a normal MV and then another one that was in the same setting but focused only on choreo.....BTS brought that format back in 2020 by releasing two videos for "ON" because they knew Sienna Lalau's choreo for that song deserved an epic focus

I can't wait for your next rise of bangtan chapter. There is so much to learn from them. Ever since I became an ARMY 4-5 years ago, i have gained so much knowledge from them through their songs and lyrics which cannot be expressed merely through words. Experience and Trust in each other is what makes them respected and professional. After the legendary k-pop band SHINHWA who have not disbanded since their debut in 1999 making them the only k-pop group to never disband with all their members in their group, BTS is one of the k-pop group that I admire and respect rather than fangirling over them since they have been giving such a great positive messages to the society all around the world of the importance of Loving ourselves.
DNA brought them to the BBMA’s and American audience. This was one of my favs, when I first started as an Army. Still love it.

Looove this format - watching MV and dance practice in one video. Dance practices are one of the best things about the Kpop world - it's fascinating to see the entire routine uncut (and usually with zero camera movements, up until recently when minimal camera movements were included in some practice videos). This choreo looked brand new to me through your eyes and I so appreciate that. It's so fast and intricate. Please react to every dance practice you can, haha. 😄

And thank you for the double reaction!!! This song live is AMAZING - my favorite part is that sometimes they perform it with handheld mics. Which means they have to bring their mics to their mouth to sing. And you might have noticed that right before they join hands, JK has a line to sing, and right afterwards he has another. as BTS choreo "working with each other" "like connecting" - it is because in Science or lets say Chemistry, DNA is two (2) linked strands 🧬 that wind around each other and it carries genetic information for the development and functioning of the body or organism
