The reason for the beef is because Luka's grandfather was forcing his son (Saša) to play for the Serbian national team, but Saša didn't want to because he identifed himself more of a Slovenian and wanted to play for Slovenia. Divac took that as disrespect and that's the story. Basically your father didn't want to play with me so im not giving a chance for your son to play for me.

We got a great schedule, as long as the team stays healthy and Luka doesn't aggravate that achilles any further we should have a nice stretch of basketball and a guaranteed 53 or 52 win season. And if possible, a late season MVP push for Luka. I'm very hopeful for the team but we just gotta wait and see what happens.

Great show but how can you leave out Jason Kidd for these late game adjustmens. He's the main reason they are 11-1 these past 12 games.
I agree. Silence in regards to Kidd once a win streak hits 5 games, but whine about him incessantly otherwise (not Slightly though, he doesn't go too hard on Kidd). I always believed Kidd is the right coach for Luka, and when you look at the big picture and not overreact to everything Kidd does or doesn't do, I feel like he's done really well so far this season, and I think he'll have them playing well in the Playoffs.
He deserves credit on this, people can easily criticize but finds hard to compliment. 🤔
He's also the reason for the stretch of loses right before because he kept forcing small ball lineups.
Seems to me like hes a decent coach but is ridiculously slow to make adjustments even if they're so obvious you got the entire fanbase spamming them in all caps after every loss.

The Mavs need to win both games against Houston to secure a better division record than the Pelicans, and therefore would hold the tiebreaker over them.
Dallas also needs to maintain their slight lead over the Kings in terms of conference record in order to maintain the tiebreaker over them, so they need to win as many games against Western Conference opponents as possible. Luka can rest against the Hornets and Pistons.
