Keep note that these modeling revamp is a VERY BIG PROJECT, so I totally understand why our recent patches are kinda " empty " now, so hope you all who watched this video can understand it.
China don't allow Skulls, Horns, Tattoo, mixture of human , too expose and animals model, and A LOT MORE elements are NOT ALLOWED in the game, that's why they have to do so many changes for their current model and basically almost like releasing new espers already.
I am 100% sure there are a lot more small changes / minor changes i missed out from it, that's how detail and major the project it, hope everyone understands it and give dislyte time to recover from all these works - Artiar

they will not censor him due to be a full fur male, trey will just give him a cool outift instead of his old work uniform. Hair and face is pretty decetn and the sword too, it will not be like Daniel or ethan as he isnt semi anthro. Censored afectd more to female furs.@@AragoTina

Hopefully in Global we keep the current designs and can toggle the new stuff. It happened with Genshin with a few characters where they used the new stuff designs for cutscenes but gave global the option to use the original outfits as skins.
Hope we can pick it as the choice we wanted
at first, i saw new jin yuyao and thought she was so boring. they just made her more hot woman palatable. she was at least interesting before, while still being extremely gorgeous. THEN i realized triki had his horns, heels, and tattoos removed and i realized this was just bullshit censorship. nice. we all get deprived of any content because they're selling out.
Had the same feeling. A lot of the og designs were more interesting. Queen mother, Nuwa, Poseidon, even Loki. They had this "body modification horror" aspect because of their esper powers
I'm surprised they left the hooves on Ethan, to be honest.
Also, they made the most minute change to Lian's dress, now the vertical slits are covered up in grey fabric.
They also changed Mavis' legs, Alexa got a boob reduction, Lin Xiao got her tail removed, and they made many other small changes, most probably.

As much as I’d love to have JYY, Biondina and Nuxi’s designs as skins… they mostly likely won’t do it because it breaks immersion and the characters lore… they lost those human aspects after esperification (esperization?) having them have it as a skin would cheapen that

this is very scary, similar to other comment concern that i fear all future designs will have to be 'pre-censored' going forward. does this mean no more furry/provocative designs? no more tattooed espers? no more anthro? not sure how to feel

Surely they will be more furry designs, but maybe more covered, or with pants, many males will be full fur I’m sure.
Honestly it would be more scary if they didn’t expand into the Chinese market. This is literally Dislytes only hope for success in the future and has the biggest whale market.
Outside of awesome furry designs I feel it ruins some of the character connections to their God powers, it would really suck if they did away with that, he'll majority of people came in was for that stuff

ngl i saw the art previews for the cn censorship before and was sad that long mian's tail was changed but the cn outfits are so creative with implementing them into their outfits (biondina is so pretty????) that i dont mind that much (maybe because it would be great for a practical cosplay irl?) i think ethan also got a braid to make up for his tail

When all of the espers’ models are released on Chinese servers, can you do a side-by-side comparison? I feel like there would be a lot of other espers requiring changes, especially because of the exposure laws.

No longer having animal characteristics wouldn't that absolutely destroy the lore of this entire universe in this game because if they didn't already established that these characters in this universe was getting hunted and abused because of the way they look then they could have said something along the line of oh they could turn back into their human form but they've only already established that they can't and so I think that they just destroyed their own lore

Not too much of a fan for the new designs of characters like Biondina or feng nuxi, that kinda made them... Unique, i really hope they decide to put them as "skins" to choose, but i doubt it
Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I fear that not only future characters, but their story as well might be more censored and less interesting in the future.

If this is gonna happen to the Global version too, then I'm not sure how much longer I'll be playing this game. There's absolutely no reason to be changing all these character models after all this time after people have already gotten used to how they look. I know that might seem like a silly reason to stop playing but I just don't like the idea of characters I love just being changed so much that they're not even the same character anymore in my eyes. What a waste😩
That is only for CN version( due to their censorship law ), everything here WILL NOT affect to us, so no worries

Okay, pet peeve, but Nuxi's snake blinking triggers me so much. Snakes don't have eyelids, they have transparent eye caps.
But other than that, Nuxi and Biondina's redesigns slap. I also like the Chinese Cerberus a lot more than the one we got.

Ngl, a lot pf the design choices for the espera are interesting. A lot of them got extra definition in their outfigs because the unique features of horns and tattoos were no longer there to suplement the designs
For real, i hope some of these skins will be toggleable or at least released for the international version because some, personally i liked Biondina's redesigns, was actually really interesting. making her tail into like... a cape lol

I absolutely love these designs and wish they would give the changes designs to use as skins. I loved the animal-turned body changes because they were so good!!! Daniel was my favorite change because he’s my favorite 4 star Esper and I fangirled when I saw him with legs!!!🥰😂

Wait... I just realized. Why is this only affecting dislyte? Aren't most popular gacha filled with Nekomimi? Heck Genshin Impact specifically has them. And Itto is an Oni with visible horns... What about Honkai Star Rail's Dan Heng? Why is dislyte the only one getting hit by the censorship of mixed human-animal characteristics? Is it because they're not as big of a cashcow as genshin?
