I use spray paint to give the foam a bit of texture. Takes practice, but you can do some great stuff with it.

Did you airbrush with regular craft paint, or some magical paint? 👀

the air-brushed paints I used were craft paints (They were actually games workshop citadel paints) , however you can use ANY acrylic based paint of your choice and you'll end up with similar results :)

Ok, thanks! I’ll be making some of these myself for an Icewind dale game

Looks Great, what is the ice mat or board on your table?

Thank you sir! I purchased that game mat (And some of my others) from DeepCutStudios. They have a "make your own" mat option in a custom size of your choosing, and it was one of their pre-made patterns to choose from. They are a little expensive (i live in the US so shipping was a chunk of that). To make it less expensive, they have a double-sided option. So I have another terrain setting on the BACK of that ice that's different. Helps me to justify the cost. Totally worth it!
