I am writing this comment to tell you that your video on how to by-pass the no command android icon screen helped me to continue on with the Factory Reset of my Visual Land Android Tablet. I just can not thank you enough times.
Great video! P.S. I first contacted the company and they wanted to charge me a fee. This is a brand new tablet. I decided to check out CZcams and fortunately I found you...

that's because the 4-5 sec rule is BS. you hold power and tap up and will enter recovery immediately.

for people who aren't successful with this approach... in recovery mode, I was just pushing all three buttons randomly for almost a minute when the menu finally appeared... In one of these other YT videos this was done and that initially didn't work so I ended up here. I have a Google Pixel 3a with the latest Android version (as of May 2024).

It worked!!!! Used some of the comments bc holding down volume and power didn’t work. You have to hold volume up and power and then release them

His tablet kept restarting and wouldn't make it past the onn logo so appreciate you because was able to wipe his tablet back to factory reset and it came on and now been able to use the tablet again! In case anyone sees this.
If your tablet/phone keeps restarting. Then wait for the logo to come up and press/hold volume down and power until it disappears and reappears. As soon as it reappears, press the volume up and power until it disappears and the reboot options come up.
Select recovery and wait for the “no command” option. Then first try the volume up and power buttons. Do not hold them, but push them repeatedly at the same time. If that doesn’t work, then try the volume down. Don’t hold, but press them repeatedly until the factory settings come up. If you hold it, you’ll just turn it off again or it will turn off itself after a while.

I did all of that and when my Android goes to boot up it goes black.. I can hear that the phone is on but screen is black, it only goes black when I try to boot up, screen and phone is normal when accessing factory settings.. not sure what the issue may be
