I just saw this proformed live at a local college in my town and I got immediate chills from this beautiful piece. This is truly one of the best pieces of music that as ever touched my ears. You deserve so much recognition for your music.
Same exact thing happend to me today
Truly a amazing piece
My highschool band is playing this for our spring concert
I saw UW Eau Claire’s Symphony Band perform this piece, and it put me to tears. This made me realize that music is the path I want to take in life, and three months later, I am happy to say I will most likely be attending Eau Claire for Music Education with instrumental emphasis. Thank you for this amazing work, Mr. Day.
Adam, thank you for sharing your heartfelt story here and I'm thrilled that you've chosen to pursue your passion. I'm incredibly happy for you and I wish you the very best in your pursuits. I wouldn't be where I am today without the music educators that inspired me throughout my life. I'm excited to see how you will inspire others and share this beautiful gift of music.
All the best, Kevin
ADAM! Hey Mr. Day, so wonderful your piece could give us another incredible percussionist! Currently at Eau Claire with Adam and I can't thank you enough for creating this piece. I was in Symphony Band when we played this, and it still remains one of my favorite pieces that I have ever played to this date.
About to play this for CMEA (Connecticut) eastern region, I’m playing xylo/marimba, thank you for making me actually deeply practice a piece of music for the first time in a while
