I think I get it you're not using a color pencil but actually a pastel pencil which is much softer than color pencil cause there's a lot of dust than just a regular color pencil

One time when I was in second grade and my brother was in preschool my mom took us to run errands after school. She stops at a bank and we had these small balloons in the car so me and my brother started messing around with them. My little brother kept look out my window very silent so I turn and look, and there was this guy with his face and hands pressed up against the window so I tell my little brother to get down and me and the guy have a stare down. The man walks away when my mom came back. I tell her what happened and she just speeds off.

I just got some prisma colored pencils but i'm a watercolor and arcylic painter i nevered really used colored pencils. What technique do i use? I don't know how to get them smooth on paper, is there some kind of paper i have to use to get them smooth on paper? What kind of paper do i use? How much pressure do i put on the colored pencils?
