I’m still in awe of your cover of “coffee shop” from 11 years ago. That will never be topped. Good shit

I can’t believe I’ve been subscribed to you for 15 years! We watched you as a child. So weird!

17 years ago I used to watch your bass covers and was totally inspired. I wish I was mature enough then to realize with enough practice I could really become something good but I quit. Since then I’ve come back as a guitarist the last few years. Just wanted to say that Im super glad to see you are still playing and still making amazing videos! 🤙🏽

It's so awesome to hear this! I lived across the street from their bassist in the Live Version of "Colors" from 2019-2021. Scott actually helped us and our neighbors a lot when the Great Freeze of Texas happened in February 2021. He's a really sweet guy, good father and a humble, deeply talented musician. I kinda feel bad I still have tupperware from the gumbo they shared with us! Lol anyway keep up the great work David! I'm a classically trained percussionist & jazz drummer finally turning to the bass that I wanted to learn 18 years ago :D Thanks for all that you do!!

I see you playing with your thumb and it reminds me of when I started playing bass in the 60's. I used my thumb as did pretty much everyone, basses had a lower finger rest for just this type of playing. I'm not sure if I can still do it? BTW: Nice work on this tune...
