Mr. Robert Butler's translation of the four verses of Sri Ramana Sahasram (verses 9 to 12) sung by Sriram ji in this video reproduced below:-
[Like a reflection in the glass] **
The gaze with which your self I see
Is the very gaze you place on me.
So grant it now that your glance of grace
The first of all that is, and the last,
May rest on me and kindled be,
And that through that gracious glance,
I may sink within and you perceive.(9)
** Sadhu Om Swami gives a note explaining the idea of this verse.
When we look into a mirror, our reflection looking back at us is part and parcel of our looking at that reflection. The two are not two different acts. But that reflection can look back at us if we look directly at it. In this metaphor, the Self, Bhagavan, is the one looking in the mirror and the personal self, the ego or jiva, is the reflection. We will only be able to see Him therefore if He looks at us. Therefore the prayer is for Him to grant us that look of grace.
True sight is only the Self to see.
The sight that outward things perceives
Is only blindness; sight, how can it be?
Therefore deign now to look upon me,
So that inward turned the Self to face,
I may ever dwell established there
With love, in that blissful gaze of grace. (10)
Supreme Arunachala Ramana, towering up, free of the ‘I’,
Turn your sweet face to me now, as for your grace I weep and cry,
To reveal as false this manifold world, in which, as ego, I abide,
So my sight may rest upon the Source whence ‘I’ arise. (11)
From the world’s delusion, you brought me here to set me free.
Is it right that I should thus be cast adrift and abandoned be?
Is it just that you should still delay, not showing me salvation’s way?
Therefore vouchsafe to me your glance of grace this very day! (12)
    🙏🙏🙏
