- This video explains why BANKSY has put on an exhibition of his work in Glasgow (from 18/06/2023 to 28/08/2023) and reports what happened when Johnny Depp came to see it on Friday 14 July.
Much more important than art are that generous kindhearted man,who supported a dying boy at 11yrs in his last 6 months on this earth
Thanks, Gullv, for this. As film maker, I heard the woman call out to Johnny as he left the gallery, "Thanks, Johnny". "Bye my lovely, thank you. You're welcome," he replied. "Thank you, thank you", she repeated. Then, as Johnny reached out towards her from the car door, I moved forward to film their clasping hands. This was clearly a special moment.
Thank you for this information, Gullv. I now have some idea of the reason why the woman was so grateful and I'm glad that I was able to catch a moment which reveals to the world the generous support Johnny Depp has given to a dying 11 year old boy.
I didn't know any of this till now.The more people that get to know about it, the more Johnny will get the recognition he deserves.

@@jameswilletts4430 Kory, a British boy, died very recently, within days, after two failed heart transplants. He was a dear sweet boy. If you have time, Captain Kory has still got a channel on CZcams. It was 1 of his dying wishes to gain a certain number of subscribers. (I forget how many.) Johnny and Andy Signore from the channel Popcorned Planet were both instrumental in helping him far surpass that goal. Popcorned Planet has several videos detailing the history of the relationship. PP is also affiliated with the channel of Steph the Alternerd, another Brit who strongly supported Kory.
Johnny is VERY well known for his warmth and humility, and willingness to go to great lengths to help people, especially sick kids. He's a real humanitarian, and it's so special that you caught that exchange between the woman and him about Kory. So many of us are grieving deeply for Kory and his family, so this is so very touching. Thank you very much!

There are about 5 short replies to an original comment about the woman, who is thanking Johnny for supporting Captain Kory, an 11 year old buy who died about 2 days ago after 2 failed heart transplants. Johnny became good friends with him, and that's why she thanked him, and why his response to it was so deep. (Although he's always super appreciative. More than ANY other star is.)
You should read that original comment and all 5 of the short replies to it. It's the comment that is currently at the top of the list, and it was made after you left your own comment. It's made by Gullvivas or gullvivas, and it mentions right at the start about a dying 11 year old boy..

i was working in plain view of this video all last week absolutely gutted i missed him.
It is wonderful that Johnny takes time out with Tommy to see this great art museum. I believe that may be Johnny is thinking of putting some of his art there maybe!
It is also important to remember our Captain Kori who is now on the high seas in a better place on the Black Pearl looking for the next great adventure in the high heavens. Johnny’s an artist, he understands the importance of creating a unique piece of art & how important is 2 support other artists! Johnny has been working w/kids & adults alike, 2 support this creativity in others. Banksy is a brilliant artist, & something of an outlaw, very befitting of Johnny! He also helped a lil dude w/a dream of being a pirate! Cap’n Kori was an artist who had used creativity in the world of the internet. Johnny helped him see the dream of meeting-fellow pirate & fav actor- not only thru videos that were made & Kori used in his own creative style-but Johnny also made sure, that Cap’n Kori-a brave lil pirate & beautiful soul, who had 2 make a very grown up decision, see how there r heroes & good ppl in the world. It was a great loss 4 the Depp fam that was felt around the world, all bcause this brave lil man, had a dream & worked hard 2 see it come into being. We will never 4get u, RIP Cap’n Kori-off 2 find new horizons……the bravest pirate the world has ever known, in a boy who was only 11yrs old. Dreams do come true, u have 2 go 4 it, brave & dedicated, that’s what Cap’n Kori, taught the world.

Kaptain Kori, for those of you who do not know, was a young boy who died days before this. He had undergone multiple heart transplants, and would not be getting another surgery. Although he knew he was dying, his biggest wish was to gain 10,000 you tube subscriptions to his channel, Kracken-the-box, a sea-pirate genre site. Johnny found out last year about his wish, and in Captain Jack character, made a you tube video asking for people to subscribe to Kori’s channel. Within days of Johnny’s video, Kori reached 100,000+ subscribers, and got his coveted you-tube plaques. Johnny also sent him gifts, and kept up with his progress. Sadly, but inevitably, Kori died just days prior. The woman in the video is thanking Johnny for his support for Kori, whose last days were comforted with fulfilled wishes and a friendship with a true immortal. You can read Johnny’s letter to Kori on his instagram site. Very touching.
