Virizion is not viridian and lion, rather its likely the -ion is taken from _champion,_ which fits infinitely better. other languages names for it also continue the theme of viridian and either ending in -ion or ium, thought to be taken from triumph.
Honestly one of my favorite part about watching Pat vids is how HYPE he is for his friends. Like we all need to have someone who loves and truly and unconditionally supports us like Pat does with his friends.

Vibrava is NOT a dragonfly, so Pat was right.
Meowth gets his name because his Japanese name is Nyarth, so it probably doesn’t incorporate anything else.
Vibrava is almost definitely based in Antlions and Dragonflies (maybe mayflies too) judging by its typing, the name of its evolution, and its very short antennae. It can be both, I'd say.

Vinny is hilarious, and he's 100% justified for being annoyed in this case. Who spends the time building a random team for a totally chill/fun battle, and decides to stall out the timer? What an annoying person. Is that fun? Did you win any money? Are you just that competitive [which I would at least understand, being a former athlete]? I just don't get it. I probably wouldn't want to play him again for a long time, at least not for *fun*. It isn't fun.
