Been doin WoT events for the past few years and honestly, they went above and beyond with this years event. The snow physics being part of the game, and refined to the point where it feels like it should be in the game is just amazing!
I normally hate the snow irl but man its peaceful to drive in, in this game
Hope SCS adds snow to areas that have snow for weather in the future. Plus we would be really cool if SCS adds option for real-time weather
Snow will come at some point, though it will be a static thing in the first iteration. Either there will be snow or there won't. The gradual change of seasons will certainly not come so soon. Real time weather is definitely not coming.
They need to do what Forza does, weekly seasons!
I parked at one of the train stations today and watched 4 different trains go bye. There were 2 different freight trains, an Amtrak passenger train and then a steam engine pulling a special Christmas train. SO cool! 😀
❤ This so far is my favorite. The snow , the villages, the music, Christmas tree and decorations. I can wait to go back again!

Since i got my computer. America Truck Simulator is the only game i play anymore. Always loved semis and really wanna drive one. One of these days. I can see my self playing this game when I become an old man honestly. Scs did an amazing job

I'm seriously considering getting into ATS, I have a flight simulator, sim race back ground, but honestly want a new experience
it is amazing, i was into sim racing for a bit, and this is similar but absolutely the most relaxing game i’ve ever played, you should give it a try

That’s one cool looking Kenworth truck and color pattern it matches the color of the trailer ❤️. And the winterland map looks really awesome 🎄
Also seasonal weather along with a calendar system would be 😎
I don't think the calendar system will come in the first iteration. It's either going to be winter or summer - in summer, the sunset time will be the same, and in winter, all the days will be the same. I would like to believe SCS, but over the years I know they always introduce some feature but continue to not care about it.

Got my computer back the last couple days, it went down as KS came out out. For those that haven't tried yet, the Xmas and KS events don't mix, from my experiance you don't do enough miles on the winterland to quailfiy for the KS events. But I've done mostly WoT loads over the years, including most of the ATS events, and some of the ETS ones
Woke up yesterday and went to play the game, nope. It needed to update. Well my hard drive was nearly full so it could not complete the update. I was upset. Moved a bunch of files around to another drive, got the game to update finally. Started it up and discovered Winterland! Knew nothing about it, jumped into the game and took my first delivery to the post office. I was pleasantly surprised! I have the challenge nearly complete, got the 5 unique depots and 13 out of 15 deliveries done. I think its a nice addition to the game.

i have finished events, I forget which ones.... but i do have Kansas done. Would of been nice if they put traffic in winterland.

now if in the future their engine could actually generate some actual ephemeral tracks like some other engines...they'd truly be progressing big time in a way their fanbase and game deserves. That, and fixing a lot of the stuttering. This is a step in the right direction, but they've got to build on it. The present engine is shot.

I cannot get the Cruising Kensas Event finished. I got stuck at 13/14 and have made 50+ trips to/from all Kensas cities. :(

It sounds like you haven't done at least 100 miles on some of those trips. Look at the log and figure out which city needs to be done. Drive empty to that city that you haven't completed yet. Then select a job from that city that is at least 100 miles long and make the delivery. You will then have completed all 14.
Did no one notice that since the tuning dlc Update for the W900 came out, the suspension for that truck is suoer weird and stiff. And no drift shaft torgue at all. Idk why I'm the online one notice that and why it doesnt get fixed

You need to connect your account to World of trucks. External contracts will appear.
My external contracts isn't available. I am logged into world of trucks. Do I need to own a truck on my profile?
Make sure your connected on that specific account!
