The once McDermott Fabrication site at Ardesier used to make Oil Rigs, processed oil and helped create wealth for the area, but after piper alpha and other incidents, it lost its purpose and was fastly scrapped and abandoned, leaving behind waste, documnets of workers and shipments to rustle in sea air. Now it has been flattend and its story lost.
