Just bought this unit to run my pc , router, phones etc since we have been having more power outages lately than normal. Basically for home entertainment when the power is out. I'll run the fridge a little but but not constant. I got it for 268 after tax on sale and got a second battery from ECO flow as a new customer with a 50.00 discount so 130 for the spare battery. Not bad for 400 and i have 2 batteries. I can go for a couple of days if I don't leave the fridge plugged in and watch tv on my laptop. I have gas heat, stove and water. It won';t run my furnace but i have a 22k BTU ventless wall heater in the middle room of my house. I'll be ready next time. One more thing heat tape the main water line coming into my basement.

Didn’t realize this but the US model only comes with ungrounded two prong inverter AC outlets on side (third ground hole actually does nothing). Requires attaching a grounding cable to the entire unite to get grounded.

Yeah I use mine often basically as a solar charge controller. Tbh, I bought mine at $209 on Amazon and its worth about that much. The battery seems just small enough to entice you to buy into their more utility solar generators that cost more. The solar charge maxes out at 200W input, but you can run 600W out very easily. It will not keep up on a camp site if you're charging batteries, and running appliances etc. For the money its great within its use case.

The fridge will go for many hours more than two hours, because it's only registering the initial surge and the power used from the fridge compressor, the compressor only comes on a few times every hour. Therefore it's not using constant power from the battery.

I believe this power station has some settings that you can adjust to auto turn off after a certain time without any load. But I’m pretty sure it will stay on as long as it senses something plugged in. I know the Bluettis stay on regardless until you shut them off. Good question!

One question on your test scenarios, When you ran your full sized fridge did you leave it connected long enough for the compressor to kick on (not referring to the initial spike at start up, but the actual engagement of the compressor)? I bought myself one of these about a month and a half ago I too saw the video by Will Prowse and the prototype I think I have the production model because mine is all black and it doesn't have the writing on the top like it does on yours. I'm making this comment before I watch the entire video. Were you able to connect with the app? Like you said they needed to do some firmware adjustments. The app looks plain to me I cannot connect my app to my eco flow. Do you know about the x boost feature? I'm trying to turn mine off because I should be able to run my 40 watt TV for 6 hours I did a test and was only able to run it for 4 hours and 14 minutes I think it's because of that x boost feature needs to be turned off I'm not sure I keep reading the instruction manual over and over again and I'm still confused. I know you can only turn the Xboost feature off on the app and I can't connect I'm not the only person having that problem with the app and their device

240 watts. I then ran a 4th cup of my one cup coffee maker that's listed as 750 Watts. It did make the coffee
But after 4 comes battery is now down to 1%, Note that each cup was made on succeeding days, not 4 cups in one test.

That’s interesting. I also know that when using appliances that demand over 600 watts, the power station will power it via xboost. But, the watts will never show higher than 600 watts, the way it works to power larger appliances is by reducing the voltage.

Hmmm…I know that a fridge will cycle on and off drawing around 100 watts roughly and then zero when the compressor kicks off. But, it depends on the temperature outside and inside do the fridge, for how long it will run. If the fridge ran continuously, you could expect at least 2 hours of run time out of the EcoFlow.
