Until 4:15 : Might give it a shot, it's going to take a lot of time but I'll try.
4:18: Maybe I won't
5:00 : Fuck that, now I won't
Sam Essebag it's actually not too hard, depending how long you played the piano for. I played the piano for eleven years, starting at the age of four. Learning it properly is really important as the technical stuff in the Friska can be really tiring and hard for your hands. With much practice you can do it :)
Thank you, the problem is that I'm 19 and I started the piano 2 years ago, I can play stuff like clair de lune, chopin op64n2 or solfiegetto which are very easy pieces. So I'll have to wait a long time before playing this. Right now I started liebestraum by liszt I think it's going to take a bit of time for my level. Thanks for the advice anyways!
Sam Essebag no problem, I think you can do it with a bit of good practice! Good luck :)
@@AdamMyers34 whattup champ? Any updates?
One of those pieces you want to learn, but just can't,
Ted Mosby I can can always try
I'm learning the first page right now. Maybe I'll drag myself all the way to the fifth page.
Maybe.
Tried it and only done the first 3 minutes and now... #ragequit
At the 4th minute i canceled to learn that :|
Just practise easier pieces, then it should be easier
5:57 I love how beautiful this chord is amongst all of the chaos
OMG
Franz Liszt hey buddy
CordingWater6 Death Waltz BOO
@@FC35689 Hi! Wassup Wolfgang?
Wtf is happening here
Lmao
Excellent. But I still like Liszt' original version better. This has some really cool features that original does not have. But, somehow, the original has beauty that this version does not equal. Of course, opinions will vary.
sigmundneuron agree
What
@@eggie2097 this is an arrangement by Horowitz
4 years later but I agree, Liszt sounds better, but horowitz it's more like a showoff
Yes Liszt’s original version is richer in musical beauty but it’s more susceptible to becoming considering how much it has been played... for me it’s always nice to hear a cadenza added to this piece once in a while (Hamelin’s, Rachmaninov’s, and my personal favourite, Horowitz’s)
Only Tom and Jerry can take this
OR Woody Woodpecker
+Ke10 Plays Also Bug Bunny.
Yeah baby
or arima kousei!
I always preferred the Bugs Bunny version, myself.
First Black midi created in 1847
Horowitz was born in 1903
@@owencrawford8196 Not Horowitz, but Franz Liszt.
@@caios5128 franz liszt born 1811 in Napoleonic era , but he composed Hungarian Rhapsody no 2 in 1847
Pls more specific information.
@@gungdegalang4635 I was just correcting Owen Crawford. He thought it was composed by Horowitz, but it was by Franz Liszt. (Sorry English mistakes, I'm brazilian).
@@caios5128 But it cannot be the Horowitz arrangement if he was not born yet...

7:40 That part is so fucking insane... It's difficult to even listen to all three voices at the same time, imagine having to play them....
@Schuyler Bacn wtf are you on
What a beautiful piece.
Practising this. This will take years of perfection.
Rousseau is still hiding somewhere in here.

Why Rosseau didnt play this tranacript ??? Why rosseau play hamelin cadenza :"(
I see this everywhere hahaha
@@jesseindo5660 because it's better
@@qualitymusic122 yes , ik man , and This was the same Form ,Tom and Jerry actually , and The Cadenza its To Mintz its so Freze and idk how to say but its Ruined all of Friska theme
How can Tom play this with only 4 fingers on each hand? I get that Jerry (technically) helped Tom, but still, HOW?!
just pure passion for the music drove him to where he is
Cartoon logic my friend
I don’t know why, but I just absolutely love 8:18. It’s incredible. I just listened to that part like 10 times in a row
Me : plays This...
Asian Parents :
Nice warm up.. shall we begin?
I know i should
I'm now learning this piece myself, it's fun and quite catchy in some parts. Now just about to reach the friska part.
What the hell ? Why don't you like this version of my rapsodie ? This is fucking great ! I love virtuosity.
Damn, people are pissy as hell over these arrangements, eh?
yep. >
These is a great capodopera of virtuosity
Franz Liszt has eight hand
Teach me your ways
Because the original version wasn't "hard enough"
Actually this version is easier in most places, though still quite difficult. Horowitz himself said the original Liszt version was much too difficult, which is strange hearing something like that coming from the Maestro.
Started at the 4th minute :3 it was more entertaining to play, Thanks for the video 0w0
Great, I'll learn how to play this one tonight, said nobody! God, what a tune to learn!
i still listen to this because i love it so much xD
Will play it
Horowitz é fantástico!!!
Fun fact: Vladimir Horowitz was born with hands of 6 finger each, for a grand total of twenty-four fingers...
Cool!
Lol

I have heard part of this in Bugs Bunny DVD when I was very young, but I didn't know if it had original work! haha what a casual find!
You meant Rhapsody Rabbit the Cartoon? Well Here’s a fact. After 2 years of the cartoon being made then came Tom and Jerry’s Version of it.
Whoever played this one had fun.
great
Mr. Horowitz, is the melody in the LH or RH?
Horowitz- You only have 2 hands?
Nice piece
Personally I like this version. It’s interesting!
Yes!, me too
Good!

I don't think many people realize how hard 7:35 is from that point on, that left hand is quite literally a workout
What why are there 42 dislikes!? Screw you haters. Hungarian Rhapsody deserves zero dislikes!
but this version is trash
to my opinion it is good. a remix sort of.
JiWon Kim Fair enough, fair enough i respect your opinion
Ahem.. "Zero likes"? I think you mean zero dislikes.

This is late but when Rousseau Going to upload Hungarian rhapsody no.2, He already has merch for the song
Nice
At 4:58 I was like "is this?" a few seconds later I knew what it was.
Hilarious how I know the song from watching Tom & Jerry as a kid, but never knew the title of it, until I found this video. Nostalgic.
this channel deserves more subscribers
absolutely love your videos I would appreciate it if you'd upload some pieces from the middle east musicians
Just wonderful
Nice song
Rachmninoff prelude in c# minor if possible, thanks
I feel like this piece is beyond what a simple CZcams tutorial can teach, it would definitely take a couple years of intensive playing before you could even get the song at half speed/with mistakes. It seems like one of those pieces which no one can and never will ever play 'perfectly'.
Allow me to introduce you to Vladimir Horowitz
Very easy
Franz Liszt shut up u inhuman
Hungarian rhapsody is hard for some people, im used to it so i consider the regular version easy. I look at this one and its "woah". What is it like for people who think the regular version is crazy hard?
Have you tried to learn that or you are just bragging about something you haven't even done yet. Liszt created masterpieces and all of them are hard I believe and this Hungarian rhapsody is not an exception for sure. You need mad skills to get to a point where you can say " hey I can play Hungarian rhapsody no 2" . It is really difficult I don't agree with you.
Definitely not how Liszt wanted it to sound like. It's a difficult song, but when you play the original version out it sounds beautiful. This sounds like a mouse is running on the piano.
NintendoBadgerGamer Jerry is the mouse
5:00 Yesssssss
The Friska onwards is perfect cadenza material…
Hello it’s me your boy Liszt. I love this piece despite I wrote it
Psst! if u want to play like 2:21 u can press the middle (sostenuto) pedal an use yor two hands.
This is also the version that Lang Lang plays.
like LANG LANG
he's not that good
LifeLikeIan He's not bad either
alexander8561 yep it's the one Lang Lang plays
Like bang bang.
Nice video although not my favorite recording of this piece. Sounds kinda erratic at times and out of balance.
The problem isn't the recording, it's the arrangement.
The recording needs improvements
@piano reader, I hope Hungarian Rhapsody nos. 6, 11, and 17 will be posted :))
4:30 is the best part acording to me

But then again everyone has their own preference.

it should be in the right hand C two times C# and then another time C# just one octave higher and then another octave higher, and then going down two octaves through both the C# in each octave

Can you upload Hungarian Rhapsody n 5 ?
Can anyone tell me the difference between the Horrowitz arr. and the original version, I cant seem to find the difference, except the end though
can you make Mozart piano sonata no 8?
Whoever made this MIDI added extra octaves.
I make my own music. Kind of like Liszt but I use the sustain too much. I'm trying to cut down on using it but you know Screw that xD
+Porkchop Gaming post it
M's Compositions I've been working on that lately. I don't post them on this channel. :)
How else thinks of Valentina Lisita when hearing this version of the piece?
I find her version is more true to the original.
