Just got mine a week ago. It said butterscotch blonde, but it's really woodgrain with 5 coats of polyurethane.
It was advertised used. The serial, number started 2109. So, it was made 9 months ago, how used could it be. I zoomed in on the headstock picture and the tuners still had protective film on them!
So, $129 used at GC, with bag.
It came 3 days later in a Fender box. Guess they had no Squire ones.
It looked amazing, and the pickup selector tip immediately fell off. I laughed cause I new that was gonna happen, just not right away
I had some chrome ones laying around.
As for the bag? $69.99 Roadrunner.
I looked inside and there was 2 sets of Ernie Ball custom gauge 10's
I play 10's. He must have brought a 3 pack and the 3rd one was on the guitar.
So, $129 Tele, pretty much brand new, -$70 for the bag & 12 bucks for the strings=$48 guitar. For $48 bucks (& I know I can pull that off again) I might buy one in every color.

      Excellent find! That kicks ass!
Some people have a snobby attitude over the bullet series. But as with all things, there’s great ones, ones that need a little help to be great (a quick set up, fret ends dressed…) and ones made not so great. Even the ones made not so great can be addressed and made into awesome instruments.
      Keep playing, friend!!

Man, these pricing increases are getting a little ridiculous, but I’m trying REALLY hard to accept that we had bullet Strats and tele’s and Epiphone LP’s and SG’s for under the $200 mark for many decades. I guess it’s just supply demand catching up with inflation.
They are phenomenal guitars. A decent set up and these are life long instruments. The overseas stuff has really stepped up their process.
      Glad you love yours 😊

Some come with strong thru while others do not - do you know why?

That’s called a “hard tail” strat. They made a hard tail version and a traditional floating tremolo version.
