You guys have come a really long way. All your builds are becoming functional and legit. Like I actually would like to drive one now instead of thinking I would die driving it. Proud to be a sub. I watch on my lunch every day at work.

Spent most of my teens rebuilding a '68 bug, hard work scraping the pennies together. Man a couldn't have dreamt of better hardware to be fitting in a bug, this thing is gonna be sick when it's done. Keep up the good work guys. Awesome

I dont think they'll race it, just pre run it. bad daddy was saying they were building it to 5/1600 class but they exceeded the engine displacement regulation. and im not too familiar with all the class requirements so im not sure if they qualify for class 5.
They’ll probably just chase the trucks like they did last year

Great entertainment guys! Magic happens when a great combo of fabricators go hard, Blake sure got skills. Love the added in bradology explanations too, it certainly adds to his unique on screen persona.
I like the way Wilkey works with the measure on the cage and great footage for getting the 1st day mistakes,,, ya' know sometimes it just happens but it kept (real) suspens for the episode

The cool part is that my Roommate basically runs the Baja race sign-ins, She works for Score-International Here in Reno NV. Pretty cool job but very stressful she says. Can't wait to see the Baja videos Homies!!! #sendIt

I can't believe that you are going to make that poor little VW motor try to push those tall tires. On my VW Baja, I'm running a 1641 cc with rear tires that are 28.5 tall. Any taller and I think that you will lose usable torque to get them moving, unless you have reduced your gear ratios in the new transaxle. I'm also surprised that you went with BFG's mud tires. They look nice and super aggressive, but it seems that the KO2's would have been better suited to what you will find in the desert. The SCUMBUG build is looking really great! I'm looking forward to any updates on the project!
