To settle this. These are PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Most of CA teams recruit on a private school budget these kids in Texas either transfer or are home-grown in these districts. DVILLE,Cedar hill,desoto, Lancaster, Mansfield ISD all are homegrown talent from Dallas so how can they compare to schools who nationally recruit be real people. That's why Texas football is king.

This is probably the best Allen game Iâve ever seen up there with 2014 Allen vs Skyline. Coach Samples really has it down lol. Iâm an Allen fan but I have to say South Dallas has been hungry for a win against Allen and theyâve finally got it. Both teams played amazing and it was a well deserved win for DVille. Congrats to both teams on an amazing season. Canât wait to see the state title game

Texas Made Iâve got nothing but respect for DVille and the rest of south/southwest Dallas. They always play hard and theyâve got more heart than anyone Iâve seen. I felt so bad for DeSoto in the past bc they barely lost to Allen 3 years in a row...Even avg south Dallas teams like SGP give Allen a scare now and then. This was a matchup for the history books and Iâm grateful for the amazing football even though we lost. Coach Samples knows how to unite a team and community. Heâs building a powerhouse...Good luck to DVille in the state game I will be watching and cheering them on!! Letâs bring home that W for DFW

Even the year they lost to Trinity They were lucky it should have been St John Bosco in the state finals. The only reason SJB lost was because SJB lost their starting quarterback to injury on the second series of the Sectional championship game against Centennial. De La Salle has never beaten ST John Bosco. I'm sure they would have lost that year also. Also, did you watch that Trinity vs De La Salle game? I doubt it. De La Salle dominated that game only to be their own worse enemy with fumbles (6) and 3 interceptions. Heavy rain, First game of the season, 90 min game delay, wet field conditions proved to be too much for De La Salle option offense. Trinity only stopped De La Salle 2 times on their own, and 1 time was because time ran out at the end of the game. Even then De La Salle dropped a game winning touchdown. Also did you know De La Salle ended up ranked #2 nationally that year?
Anyone that knows High school football, knows the best time to play De La Salle is the beginning of the year. By the end of the years they are much improved.

Also, top teams in California always play each other unlike Texas where top teams only meet in later rounds of the playoffs and they rarely play each other during the regular season. Also, California and Florida (top teams) routinely play each other every other year. I ask you where is Texas? That's why most people outside of Texas considered them a fraud. They hardly ever play any teams in the top Football states (California, Florida, Georgia, Ohio). When they do every 7-8 years they always want to be at home. Where these states play between each other every year.

that's debatable... not all leagues are created equal...St John Bosco's only loss was a close one to #2 Mater Dei...but Mater Dei got blown out by Bosco earlier...just how fair is it to simply "say" MD deserves #1 but not Bosco?
boricuafrican MD came off a big win against IMG before playing SJB the first time. They definitely werenât playing at their best. When they were, they beat SJB. Bottom line is SJB lost when it mattered most and it cost them the national title. However MDâs loss to SJB the first time could mean that the winner of DVille and NS gets the national title instead, seeing as the 6A D1 playoff bracket is the toughest in the country. If either one wins by a large margin, then they will prob be #1 in the country.

Like I said before 6A D1 is the toughest playoff bracket in high school football and if a TX team can navigate it and win the state game by a large margin, especially when that team is in the top 5 in the nation, then Iâd say thatâs justifiable for the number 1 spot. Again, the game will probably be very close so that wonât happen and MD will likely stay at number 1. But the possibility is still there.
Thats a game. Duncanville has some grown men on defense. But its crazy how these two teams have have 6 of the top players in the nation & none of them want to stay at home. I seen all these teams play in person but i would say Mater Dei and Bosco are ahead of both of these teams. Mater Dei is just nasty.. I think the best team in the country.. Allen is not even the best team in Texas. I have them behind Duncan and North Shore.

When you got D1 talent all around you no point in traveling. If Allen, North Shore, Duncanville, Desoto, Southlake, SOC and all the Texas power teams made just 2 teams of super studs we'd have D1 talent down the whole depth chart.lol It would be a waste of time for a top Texas team to recruit out of state. Just like it'd be a waste of time to travel when we got plenty top talent to compete with right here. It's obvious why other teams travel and recruit nationwide. They neighborhoods only give them a few homegrown studs so recuiting is a must. Maryland not no damn football state. Is Saint whatever the fuck was city kids only they'd be trash. No one care who the state champions are in most northern states. If you not a southern state champion you not even a legit champion. Usually have 1 or 2 really good players and that's enough. That's why they couldn't wait to leave and play for schools like IMG cause they couldn't shine at home. Texas kids get D1 scholarships without moving tlacross the country to be seen.
