I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother sounds like an amazing and strong woman. Your story really resonated with me because I'm in the middle of answering the same prompt and am writing about my grandma's recent passing due to cancer.

My Mom passed away when I was 13, I really get everything you said. It's so hard to get through everything without her here. It's something that really strains my mental health. And I can connect with you on how you had to look up answers to things because you didn't have thag person to talk to. Just wanted to say, you're strong

Hi Michelle, you did a really great job with your PIQ's (Personal insight questions). I felt that last essay really tied everything together. I love how you wrote about your mom and also how authentic your writing is. Currently I am thinking of ideas of what to write for my essays because I will be transferring hopefully next fall to a UC. 😊
