Goosebumps every bloody time I hear this song. This is the most fascinating sound palette I've ever heard, absolutely everything is perfectly in it's place in the mix.
Drumeo hopefully is working on getting Alex in their studio. They should try to make him an instructor.

Them tama star drums and bell brass snare sound absolutely amazing with them meinlsss. Rudinger is the man. Love the playing, the drums, the tones, the music, and the audio quality in general.

First time I saw this I was blown away and I love the track. A few months later I discovered the album on Google Play Music and I couldn't believe the track was on there!!! I thought this was an original track, so I felt kind of silly. And then I realized that this album was by THE Jake Bowen. I've been a Periphery fan since P1. Yeah I'm stupid haha

al looks awfully relaxed and happy not having to read from a sheet while playing.
The traditional heavy rides are the prefect mix of ping and wash with a nice crash. I guess that's the whole point of the traditional line though, to be applicable to most situations, but the heavy ones are other worldly. Especially the 23. The 23 I think has the best balance of all the traditional heavy rides.
It's always amazing to see rudi play.

Holy shit, after all these years watching Alex's videos, how the hell did I miss THIS one? This might be one of the most impressive ones, just on chops alone. That keyboard in this song reminds me of an album I did with keyboardist Jonah Weingarten called STRUCTURE OF INHUMANITY "Completion Integration". Of course, my drumming doesn't compare to what Alex laid down in this video!
