Love wax stamps!!! That turquoise wax is beautiful.
Natasha...here's a hint for wax seals that I LOVE! After you pour the melted wax either on a silicone mat or your paper, ink up your metal seal with a metallic pigment ink pad. The ink gives the debossed area a beautiful shine, and the properties of the ink keep the seal from sticking to the metal! I love wax seals so much! Your idea with the water color mat is genius!
So just to be sure I understand, you’re saying put pigment ink on the seal stamp before you put it in the wax? Is that right? That really sounds amazing. I’m glad I saw your comment to Natasha.
What a clever idea, that would make the image pop as it would be the colour of the wax surrounded by the shine.... Nice, will try that out... :)
Aww Natasha, such a cute little card! I don’t have any wax seals, but like the concept of colouring in gold pen to enhance the design. It really pops! I might have to think about getting some 😉 Great little elements to make up the card 😃🩷
Very cool trick to cut off those fussy legs then stamp the bee then add the fussy cut piece over top! Very clever you are!
Gorgeous card. Love the trick of cutting off the bee's knees and adding them back in with a stamped image. So much easier than trying to fussy cut little legs!!

I'm not really into the wax seals but loved the card maybe another bee could be placed over the burlap may just have to give it a go.

Can’t say I ever thought to use a wax seal on anything other than the back of envelopes…didn’t want to go down the road of wax melting…but now I may rethink that…great job inspiring us, as always!

This is a beautiful card. I have a few wax seals and I like the mat with the circles. Thank you for the idea of using the wax to make enamel like dots.
I love wax seals but never thought of adding them to the card instead of the envelope! Great technique too with the bee cut out/stamping back in ❤
That silicone mat is a fantastic idea! I am on oxygen so no open flames but I can use the kind that melts in a glue gun. ❤
I found an electric wax seal warmer on Amazon a few weeks ago. I didn’t even know there was such a thing. It’s nice that other options are available.

You are such a clever boots! That is such a neat trick to stamp the entire bee with all the tiny bits and then place your no fuss-fussy cut bee over it. Have seen you do this with other stamps and am always impressed with the technique.

I’m still working on getting all of my wax seal supplies , I just need the burner thing now. Really like your card, just the right amount of every thing on there.

I really love the look of stamping and then putting the fussy cut bee on top of the stamped image. It actually gives some dimension to the bee. Brilliant! Thanks for more card making inspiration!

Great tip for stamping the image and putting the fussy cut bee’s body and wings on top. TFS
I use parchment paper to make my wax stamps on and it has worked just fine. I'm too cheap to buy a silicone mat right now, so the parchment paper works great for me.
I also don't put any extra color on the seal until I stick it to the card. I find that my thumb always rubs a bit of the color off when I stick it down. So I've started sticking them to the envelope and then using a paint marker on them.

May I suggest something for those that would like to try this but don't have all the stuff?
You can create something very similar with embossing powder or utee. I'm a little obsessed with embossing powder. Lol. Quite often, people have to ask how I created something, and they are surprised when I tell them embossing powder. I've never melted a stamp in embossing powder. Lol That seems to be a common fear.
What is the best thing about embossing powder? Your mistakes are easily fixed with a heat gun. Lol.
If you don't have a spoon, a small aluminium pie dish will do, but remember the heat will transfer, so protect your hands.

That’s a really cute card!! Love the dimension and textures. I have all the supplies to try making wax seals, but haven’t got to it yet, this was very helpful! Do you know how the wax stands up to mailing with big summer temps? I can not find any info re melting point of the wax…but imagine it’s pretty low? Your creativity is so inspiring, TY! 🧑🏼🎨😀🐝

Thanks Natasha!! I have the melting wax spoon and some of the wax melts and some of the wax stamps- so I was so happy to see this!! Did you list the link for the bee stamp?? Maybe I missed that- but I agree, I like the realistic bee image and they are a little harder to find. If it wasn't linked- maybe you could let us know??
