UAE teaching job is very challenging. Qualification requirements + work experience + uae teaching permit exam + teaching is demanding here.
The schools prefer females on husband's visa. Due to covid, many schools closed down, salaries slashed, new vacancies are non existent. Most imp is to have "contacts"
Very true. Contacts =Vaasta. Schools in UAE run in a haphazard manner. They only bother abt KHDA and nothing else. Standard of education is far below as compared to schools in India. My personal experience is, education in India is far better and things are much streamlined in India as schools strictly follow the curriculum boards which they follow unlike the schools in UAE.

Normally schools in UAE would require at least 2 years of experience. So it’s better to gain experience first. However, there is no harm in applying without it as well.

It’s shouldn’t be a problem if it’s not mentioned on your degree anywhere.

Most of the schools ask for a minimum of 2 years of experience so we would suggest you to gain that before applying here.

All the schools are making the teaching qualification mandatory however, you may try your luck without it! You can always show that you are pursuing and get more preference.

@@StringsNStrokes As I mentioned my master is from Distance mode, As you said in the videos that the Highest qualification can't be from distance mode it should be regular, I wanted to know if I proceed with a PhD in Zoology ( Regular ) will that solve the problem? Making me eligible for the jobs.

You can get a job on the basis of any regular degree you have, be it PHD or Bachelors. All the best!

I mean a valid resident permit. I don't know whether I can use this term here. I only mean I am physically not in UAE nor I have a support of any visa like a husband visa or a parental visa

One doubt:When I had already done all attestation of my docs & certs from an agent in India, why was I told to again do the attestation in Dubai, Oud Mehta?? Why should I waste my money twice?
That is MOFA(Ministry of foreign affairs) Dubai. Only a few agents get the attestation done from MOFA here in UAE.
My agent already did MOFA, in fact the agent's name was recommended by the GEMS HR lady herself . I think we are supposed to do equivalency of certs.. which is another time& money consuming headache.

How would you go about applying for the leadership roles from a GEMS class teacher?
Leadership roles are promoted both ways as mentioned by you! Internal people are given a preference, however if there is no one who can take the position from within the staff, others are recruited.
Your senior leadership team would guide you about applying which is generally the process of presenting your vision and mission for the department you are applying for, followed by the panel interview!
What score of ielts required for teacher ? pls answers..
Some schools asks for over all 7 with a minimum of 6 in each skill and It has to be academic module.
