I call out many people too trying to 1v1 me since i know the game sense is mostly better then the majority of people we play against , when it comes to aiming we dont forget how to we just get slower .. Remember the 1v1s on cod 2 dm map or cod 4 pro mod 1v1s... god damn those days were golden

I switched as a 25 year KBM vet to using a controller in Halo and matched my "halo skill level" within the first 5 games of playing with the controller. I felt completely awkward and bad but still did better than I would on PC. PC you can feel like you're beaming people and the Controller players just get perfects constantly haha

I was a bit worried about summit getting that worked up over a random shit talker about a jokeshop game that gives half the players aimbot, glad to see the last 30 seconds of the video where he comes to his senses.

people really dont comprehend how hard it is to compete with the same consistency as aim assist in some of these games especially halo, just match the hitbox slowdown size for roller to the active hitbox for mouse its not that hard to balance

I think part of what always bothered me in this game is you can't really feel the feedback when you take dmg. I couldn't even tell Summit was taking damage unless I was looking at his hp.

Halo infinite would actually be one of the more played games competitively on PC if you could opt out of playing against controllers. The aim assist is just too crazy. I tested it on MCC and went from breaking even to back to back games of like 30-2 using a controller.

controllers are a lazy way to play a game but also over powered
just seen a couple of fights. It looks like you're not aiming with your A and D which people can left analog. It's probably harder on PC since I normally don't do that but with mouse you actually have to move your aim while dudes on controller don't really and all they really do is move left and right which is why you struggle so much with those types of kills.

when I actively CHOOSE to use a controller when I haven't played a game that controller didn't hurt my hands in well over 10 years on halo....it should say something...and I'll openly admit I prefer playing with a mouse and keyboard but when I can put in barely HALF the effort while using a controller and do better when 90% of the time I'm using the controller I'm winning fights even when I don't think I should be winning them because I myself KNOW I wasn't aiming near enough for a headshot but got it....its the same for apex I hate playing shooters on controller but when it feels like I'm shooting more accurately for no reason why wouldn't I choose the peripheral doing that?

I am a controller player, I respect Summit for grinding but I think sometimes many KnM players including him struggle to realize that a balance between KnM and controller will not happen overnight in this game. After years of being a controller/console first game they have to build the balance without alienating a majority of their player base.

you don't realize how bad of a gamer you are until you grow up on the sticks and after 18 switch to pc, pc was so much harder to be accurate in fps games than on console, console players really do get babysat by aim assist it's crazy and i didn't realize the diff til the switch to pc.
I play mnk for every shooter except Halo. We all played Halo w controller growing up it only feels right.

Back in the dayyyy, M&K was the real way of showing you had skills. Controller usage wasn't great/aim-assist sucked, etc. But nowadays controller kids get all that sweet, sweet aim-assist that wasn't much of a thing, back then.. Then they think they're Gods.
You could literally just try controller and if you're a beast or better you are than with MnK fair but if you only use MnK don't judge people that use controllers. Goes both ways ofc
M&K is still the real way of showing actual skill in almost, if not, every single game ever made that accepts both inputs. Controller is quite literally a handicap, you get extra features to help you win while M&K is just raw gaming.
@@blurryface9910 I get what you're saying believe me I do, I play both Starcraft and Halo so I'm definitely not disagreeing with you. All I'm saying is, it definitely takes skill to use a controller in Halo. You get AA but its just not jarring and on MNK sniping and moving around is a lot easier.
M&K gets about every other advantage in a game period. Besides twin-stick shooters, side scrollers, and racing games, and when I say racing games, take that with a grain of salt, especially if the framerate isnt capped at 60fps on the game itself, and the PC gamer plugs a controller into that. Plus, all games that are cross-compatible have MOST cheaters using what again?... M&K. So, in my opinion, games that cater a little more to controller here and there is an even trade. I can't believe the number of PC complainers on Halo crying because the game has aim assist for controller and M&K!!! It's quite the cry out. PC players are automatically assuming "This controller player shouldn't be getting a single kill on me." Why not just even the odds and use a controller yourselves, since PC is providing 40% aim assist of what a controller provides in Infinite? After all, your $1500+ machine should have a USB port.
