Iced Earth was the headliner… and we left halfway into their set because In Flames had crushed it so hard during that the headliner was boring by comparison. 20 years of going to shows and Still one of the best live metal acts I’ve ever seen.
He's good but he didn't carry anything. In Flames melody and guitar work carried the band. The best drummer they had was probably Daniel Erlandsson who is now with Arch Enemy. Even Bjorn was great before he became their guitarist, he's the one that wrote the beat your listening to here after all
You want them to keep writing melodic death metal at age 49? I love old and new in flames but they can’t keep writing melodic death metal unless they have child development problems
