i love when Adam is playing and Heather is on the back dancing.....LOVE IT
These three people pioneered the rave scene in America.
You got that right I was at many raves where they were all spinning it’s was amazing.
I think maybe in the world
I followed them all over the east coast & then some early to late 90s. Best times in the scene and for music in general. 🫶🏼
For America? Not sure about that..definetly NYC and the east coast, but in LA, we had our own pioneers. Doc Martin, RAW, DJ Dan, Ron D Core, Eli Star
I miss going to raves all over the 5 Burroughs!! I watched and danced to all these guys and gals mixing there heads off while I rolled my head off. Ahh the good old days when thousands danced and loved one another till the sun came up and than some, for me 1989 till 1994 there were still a few trying to keep it going. Might have even gone to a few in 95 but they were cheesy and got raided easily. I specifically remember one in green point queens I believe it was an abandoned airplane hangar and the whole place had like 3 inches of murky water on the ground, it sucked. That was it after that the party was over!! Had to resume indoors like the tunnel, Twilo, limelight...............
April 27 the Brooklyn Monarch
I used to love going to Sonic Groove and buying Dope Records!!!!!
I love the way Heather Heart dances :)
Heather Heart knows how to throw some shakes. Allez girl!!!! Superb!
Heather is grooooooovin in the background, when Adam is playing!
Heater heart is an underground legend
TheGiulio28 Hey thanks!
Heather Heart respect from Detroit
Massive respect!!! Come play for us in London we want youuuuu
And one of the nicest in the world!👍❤
@@MsHeatherheart Hi Heather, I met you at a KC rave years ago, you were doing a capoeira ginga on the dancefloor so I joined you lol. Mad respect!!!
Its great to hear from the legendary Sonic Groove crew. These guys are pioneers in electronic music, you have to respect them for that.
Back when Sonic Groove was open it was the best place to get the best wax too.
@4skinmeat I used to book the brothers and Heather back in the late 97-2000 in Atlanta, GA. They are great people. Frankie commented to me once that I had paid for his house. He wasn't cheap to book but worth every penny. He's a pioneer. They sold out my first major event headlining with Bad Boy Bill and skylab2000. Frank once brought in a mix spinning the incoming track in reverse.I was worried he had an eq issue but no he freakin stops and drops the track and finished w/o missing a beat.
Without a doubt worldwide Frankie is one the best live DJs.
The best!!
They all refuse to sellout to this very day! 😎🎼🎵🎶
I was at planet of the drums at the power company in Durhan N.C. and met DJ Icey dancing near the DJ booth and I recognized him asked him what he was doing there. He was there for the music. Baby Anne was playing.
I use to hear them spin back at Nasa and the Polaydium, lame light. est... loved to see Frankie Bones and Nikky Fingers "R.I.P" go at it with some hard core.. Mad respect to all three and the Sonic Groove crow.
PAULY in the back. Rip. Sympty countdown parties were great. Sonic Groove crew were always amazing. I've seen them all at least 10 times. The 90s were the greatest decade for all music. But the NYC club and party scene were hands down the best in the country for years. Thank you all who participated in that.
WOW Heather Heart blast from the past
i saw these peeps and friends spin at a warehouse party in houston in 1999 (i think "love parade" or something) then the following year at the same warehouse "gotta move to the SONIC GROOVE" --that was the shit back then. good old days, high school
you can also add to credits this event was thrown by BLACKKAT NYC as a protest of the RAVE Act and NYC's Cabaret Law -- that's me introducing them ...
JaxonBK23 now that's my kind of protest!
Could you please tell us more about this context and what time was it, please ?
titi violet & pie google michael alig, twilo closing because of mishandling ghb overdoses, then 9/11
@@tielover13able 2002,as a protest of the RAVE Act, a bill proposed by Sen. Joe Biden, to apply 'crackhouse laws' to party organizers - the law passed in a different form in 2003 I think ..
@@tielover13able and nothing to do with Michael Alig! jeez
These are legends. So much respect. Saw adam a couple months ago. And seeing him again in 3 weeks.

❤️😍memories - love them all
2:54 was just in my head, still thinking about this!! plus love how heather grooves :)
I miss the Sonic Groove Record strore In Brooklyn. It was the best in Brooklyn, legendary.
I remember these guys from the Liquid TV tour back in the day and that Connecticut show flopped, but we partied anyway like the Tunnel refugees we were. They still got it!
I absolutely *loved* when Heather played after parties. She just has that energy and the skill set to now how to work the crowd after people have been up all night…or more. In my early party days 94-95 Frankie got me hype asf too ngl. Early to mid 90s was the best time in the scene and for music in general. 🔊🎧🎚️♾️🫶🏼
Thank you for this Video!!!!
Sonic Groove, omg i loved this shit for ages.
STORM RAVES #1.
Loving Heather Hearts dance moves in this vid! :D
The first Rave I went to here in southern Ca. in 1992,had the flyer with,"Frankie Bones & Adam X straight from the Brooklyn Undergrounds"(also with live performance from the UK,"Altern 8").
i think i love heather.
ooooohhhyeahhh!
@ 2.50 Scratch D Vs. H Bomb The Red Pill not sure if its the Apex Remix or the original one..
Love from Glasgow.
I ❤️ Heather ❤️
this should be in the national archives
very well put. not sure what heather is up to these days, but adam is still one of the most innovative techno musicians in the US. .heather was probably the most technically gifted, and her music was always so dark. i always loved watching/hearing that petite little woman pound out techno that was way ahead of its time. (hey ladies---) heather paved the way for all of you to do your thing in a male dominated culture (the dj culture, that is)
long live the Groove.
I just played that Scratch D Red pill today then somehow I ran into this cool video
Cool Video, Thanks for sharing!
thank you CZcams algo. for popping this up during work. "This is my NYC accent"- Banksy
old school masters!
Adam X is tha man - crazy bastard though.
Fuck! This brings back some good memories of NYC...I remember back in the mid 90's going into sonic groove and at any given time there would be some legend on deck spinning. Good times!
Whattap Frankie, Adam, & Heather...
(miss you guys) Groove Posse for life!!!!
One of the first videos I ever saw on CZcams....
Holy Damn! all are so lucky.

Hart dancing at 3:25 is the bees knees.
Best thing about parties is the after parties. Shit is on another level.

nice event!
They rock i miss sonick groove records!
1000000000000000% Correct
AND HE'S BETTER THEN EVERY DJ OUT THERE! TRUST ME, I WAS THERE FROM THE START!
Brooklyn Represent. No SD cards here. You couldn't fake this back then. Real DJ's. They had any club in the city rammed. You went where they went and planned that shit months in advance.

For those who don’t know, the song is “I feel for you” by Chaka Khan that she is chopping up. And that Asian dude really wanted his daps.

When she is dancing behind Adam, the trk is "H-Bomb vs Scratch D - The Red Pill (Marine Parade UK)" Version or UK version
shit early 90s was the time for rave in dc, va, md, nyc, florida. i even had a chance to play @ fever for scott henry & charles feelsgood in bmore the same night that frankie bones & adam x headlines.
can ya feel it ;)
Tracklist:
Heather Heart: "Kraftwerk - Tour de France (Remix)"
Adam X: "Scratch-D Vs. H-Bomb - Red Pill (Original Mix)"
Frankie Bones: "Dhs - House of God (Azzido da bass rmx)"
you're welcome ;)
There has to be more to that mix with Red pill though what was the second record he mixed into
The record after Red Pill that Adam drops is still unidentified.
Thought the Red Pill track was by Koma and Bones - called Morpheus?
