This analysis could not be more spot-on. Necessary humor interspersed with many moments of heartbreak for the poor patients on this trial. Never mind the resulting impact on the US healthcare system already struggling to keep itself afloat. Very much looking forward to hearing more of your commentary on recent ASCO data!

You are fucking awesome. Never stop. Never hold back. I absolutely love what your doing. This channel is easily the most philosophically sophisticated of any popular medical outlets. I wish I’d discovered you before turning my back on academia.

Slow down buddy! Go back and watch his early Covid crap. He is smart but no need to bow before him.

@@patrickhaarhues2870 didn’t mean to suck the guy off, lol. You are exactly right: his early stuff was wrong and he took a while to get clear. But he did respond to evidence, correct his view, and developed a helpful, sane perspective. And I still think he’s the most philosophically sophisticated popular medical outlet. So I respect him. I’ll chill out though lol.

@@careyjamesmajeski3203 I’m a physician. I guarantee you he knew much of what he said was wrong at beginning of pandemic. He was quicker than some ti jump ship but he did it because damn near everyone now sees the problems with vaccine effectiveness and safety. He is a tool. Don’t trust him further than I could throw his Weasley little academic ass.

Thanks Dr VP for keep speaking up. I think patients are at the mercy of medical professional and ethical board to protect them. No patient will be able to tease out nuances of these details. If we ( docs, pharma trial lead, ethic boards) fail patients then all are accountable.

Great content Dr. Prasad. I urge you to call for the same rigor in testing vaccines on the CDC's childhood schedule.

We all need to do that. Demand that your federal representatives pass laws to restrict what FDA and CDC can recommend… only that which meets rigorous evidence based criteria.

You should do a comment on cancer research fundraising and their role in funding poor quality research. In Ohio, near me, there is a yearly bicycle ride fundraiser called Pelatonia that always talks about the vast sums they raise
