💁♀️ HI I'M MELISSA MARIBEL
I help students pass Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I used to struggle with this subject, so when I finally graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I became a tutor so that you wouldn't have to struggle like I did. I know that with the right help, YOU CAN LEARN ANYTHING!

Hi Melissa, I'm 54 and back in uni for the first time in 20-something years. I've never used a scientific calculator in my life and your video is exactly what I needed. Coincidentally, I bought the same calculator (TI-30Xa) which is an extra bonus for me. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!
You saved my life. I have not used the scientific calculator ever. This is a quick guide to it. Awesome video!!!!! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
The part about the parentheses is SUPER important, especially with a TI-39XS which has x10^ rather than E or EE, since it treats the x10^ as a separate and distinct multiplication. This is a problem! Especially when doing division, as it will NOT group the exponent as part of the number, and will try to divide the exponent itself. To work around this, make sure students include exponentiated numbers in parenthesis.
1.23E15 / 3.45E-10
Is NOT the same as 1.23 x 1015 / 3.45 x 10-10
But (1.23 x 1015 )/ (3.45 x 10-10) is.
How do you not have more subscribers????
this video quality is amazing, thanks for the help, hope you grow more! thanks.
Thank you; easy to follow and understand.
For the last problem, it is better to alternate division and multiplication instead of multiplying all numerator's factors, then denominator's factors, and then dividing them up. Not only this requires less keypresses, reduces chances of making erors with parenthesis, but also reduces possibility of overflows/underflows and reduces error accumulation.
Thank you! great job! fast right to the point
Thanks so much
Very helpful video 😀
