Yeeun herself said in Good Girl that she can do everything. People avoided her at first during the Unit Performance because they didn't know what she could do but she charmed up to her Hway Unnie in the end because as Hway said there is no way to hate her. She is just naturally charming.
Plus I love how she never bent down to the pressure when she challenged solo. She stayed true to what being an idol is and won! Even her opponent looked down on her saying she was arrogant for challenging him ALONE without anyone featuring with her. She represented all the idols out there that there is a reason why they are called idols.
I swear if promoted properly, Yeeun and CLC will be big.

Remember day 1 before she went onto the stage alone, she was so nervous that she called out her members and wanted to go home. Now she was so confident in performing Barbie show that her hard work paid off. Also she'd said she wanted to promote CLC with the GG show, she really did it with her charm and power. Hope that she and her group would get success in near future.
Helicopter is doing very well, her hard work was tottaly worth it, proud of her and all CLC members (sorry for my english).

i think they didnt just look down on her bc shes an idol, but bc shes a member of a group that isn't popular. they didn't expect someone like her to be talented and yeeun knew that. mommy son didn't even try cause he assumed he wouldn't have to but that's exactly why yeeun went the extra mile and put hella effort in every aspect from dancing to singing. yeeun rarely ever sings but she showed in this show how shes the golden member of clc. i truly hope she'll be respected as a rapper that writes her own verses, has creative intelligence and is just an amazing performer. her winning was well-deserved bc unlike the others she was focused on proving her worth rather than looking down on others
I don't think they were looking down on her being untalented. They were just surprised she would go solo, and remember, Dindin told them Yeeun was the only person to choose Mommyson so she basically had no choice but to go against him. Also, Mommyson tried, idk what you were talking about bc his song was freaking good; he just chose to feature the other two more heavily to give them a chance to shine. But yeah, I'm glad Yeeun won and was able to boost her confidence in herself as well as establish herself as a competent idol in other people's eyes. I swear if Cube doesn't promote her and CLC someone's gonna catch these hands

The fact that she beat not just Mommy Son but two other dudes from SMTM, she really came thru and won with her Barbie song! Her power! I really wish we got to hear what the GG cast had to say about her winning. I’m sure they were rooting for her but it also feels like they had many concerns if she was capable of beating Mommy Son all on her own.
I hope cube watch this and not waste clc's talent ㅠ.ㅠ

I'm not surprised because CLC can slay ALL GENRES of songs.
Since Yeeun is an idol, she had this downside that almost all idols have whenever they participate in a competition or a show: they tend to be highly nervous, don't know what to do and try to protect their image at the same time. But when she finally feels free and comfortable, you know shit is gonna happen.

I’m always so nervous watching her because I just can’t fight the need to protect our baby. There are so many times when I almost forget that she isn’t the maknae. I’m so glad she’s getting closer with the rest of the cast. She said she wanted to grow through this experience and we can already see that growth already. The show is also gonna attract new fans which makes me even more excited for the next CLC comeback. One scene I wish you included in this video is when she came back after her first performance and the other cast comforting her. It was too cute!

For me, her solo of Black Dress (which was already my favorite CLC track) made me notice her innate talent.
Barbie, however, made me stan her. Period. How her vocal ability evolved between Black Dress and Barbie, as well as her level of performance, was inspiring to watch.
