- The thrilling story of the EHF EURO 2024 is told through the experiences of two main protagonists of the teams that contested the pulsating final on Sunday 28 January in Cologne: French all-time great Nikola Karabatic, who played his last EHF EURO before retiring, and Danish star Mathias Gidsel.
Andreas Wolff tells the story from the German perspective as hosts, while Geraldine Pillet gives us behind-the-scenes access to the Karabatic family.
Among the many highlights featured in the documentary is the opening day in Düsseldorf, where a crowd of 53,586 spectators made for a world-record attendance at a handball match, and the heart-warming buzz created by Faroe Islands and their many fans during the team’s first-ever EHF EURO appearance.
The captivating film is a joint production of EHF and Infront. The title ‘Here to Win’ is a playful variation of the tournament’s official slogan, ‘Here to Play.’
Subtitles are available in English, French, German, Croatian and Danish.

Great documentary! But I‘d liked to see a bit more about other teams to other than the contenders for the title. Faroer islands matches were great to watch, Austria had a huge tournament with what they achieved and then there is also Andy Schmids last ever game… I would have liked to see a bit more about this too because it were also huge moments for the handball
And also a bit of the sweeden team
I'm French and we are very lucky with the last shoot of Prandy against Swedish... Swedish deserved to be in final against Danemark... And the final against Danemark was beautiful, Gidsel is the best player in the world, Palicka the best goalkeeper and Wolf..., what a player!!!!

How about making this a small series of the EURO. By this you could make a movie about specific topics like the run of Austria or the joy of the Faroer islands with having most of there inhabitants in Germany to support them. A whole episode over the finals weekend and the journey of every team in the semifinals. There are many possible episodes.
This is a nice video but I think many beautiful stories from the EURO 2024 are missing. With making it a small series more faces of Handball could be shown! Also the friendly environment of the fans around the EURO 2024 could be shown better.

I love the production of the documentary but not the documentary itself. It's ok to face Gidsel to Karabatic as a main plot, it's ok to focus on Karabatic's family to give the personal feelings touch and so on...but I think handball as a sport falls a bit apart! Faeroe Islands story deserves more time, Iceland's fantastic tournament too, Möstl's tournament was amazing, Spain's disappointment and bad luck with the injuries is also part of the epic of the tournament.
I think this documentary is a good handball commercial but not a good handball documentary for the history of our sport.

Great hommage to one of the GOATs. Luckily the flame keeps getting passed on to the next generation, thanks to a continuous chain of love for the sport, which starts every weekends with thousands of parents, coaches, referees and clubs giving time for games to go on at all levels. Great job putting this film together. Thanks a lot ❤
The First german half against Denmark was the best Game we can Show at this point. I think this was the best performance we are capable of.
Nice documentary. When the danish have an Lasse Anderson, but do Not take hin to the Euro it‘s sure how great quality they have. He would have the Main roll in any other team.

They didn't cheat. The refs took the wrong decision. At normal speed it wasn't evident to see.
