Aprilia Tuareg 660 mods so far

I fotgot to mention in the video about the top bag benefits. It's the first soft bag I have owned that can be easily mounted without any straps going over the top so you simply unzip it and get in and out without any hassle almost like a tailbox.
The Sealline solution wins in price, weight functionality but does fall short if you go down hard there certainly is a chance of ripping much easier than a Mosko product but they are so cheap I just cary a spare at the bottom of the top bag and a few spare straps along with some gorilla tape.

I like the resourcceful approach to mounting the soft bags, however I personally still don't think ill trade my Reckless because I don't see that homemade setup holding up very well on rough trails. Im sure its great for street riding though.

SealLine for the win. Light, modular, submersible, cheap very customizable with 2 rows of loop points and corner rings, you can attach a bag without having to strap across it and therefore you can open it easier and faster.

Love your setup and mods on your bike. Are you using the SealLine Discovery Deck bags? In case, do you believe you would be able to fit a 30L on the sides, replacing your 20L?

Thanks for sharing, I'm also looking at the AXP skid plate. Did you use heat reflector tape under/on the side of the Catalyst? Any problems with heat on the skid plate? Also, how do you like the comfort seat?

I got another skid for amp since the first one had a recall and this new one had some heat tape in the cat area but I already removed the cat. LOVE the comfort seat.

What's the name of the little controller with controls your map? Where didi you buy it? Is it only working with Locus Maps?

How did you connect the bottom of the gnome bag to the tank. Looks like you don’t have the long straps?

I ran a zip tie across the underside of the red body panel and then used niteize gear ties to attach to the bag. I hated the look of the straps. imgur.com/a/V10IJxO

You shouldnt need that throttle holder with the bike having cruise control ....

yes you do not need it but if you have a Tuareg you know there is more resistance on the throttle than most bikes and this helps offset that and is easier on your hand in traffic riding where the cruise is not applicable.
