I'm so happy you included donations! Our first daughter was a second trimester miscarriage in 2011. Every year, we select a gift for a girl who is the age our Robin would have been if she was still with us and we donate it to a local toy drive in her memory. My kids enjoy talking about their sister and imagining what she'd like to play and what trends she'd follow or sports she would have participated in. It helps us appreciate what we have together and brings a little joy to a local child. I always encourage people to donate in memory of any child gone to soon, to share that love with the children still here with us. Thank you for this video.
So sorry for your loss, mama! 💔 What a beautiful way to hold her memory close as a central member of your family and bless someone else as at the same time! ❤️
This year we are in the middle of moving so we really don't want to get a lot of "stuff" that we're just going to have to pack up and move, so I got our girls their own bibles and bible cases for Christmas. ❤ 📖🎄
Got a zip line for my oldest last year in an effort to get her to go outside more, and it worked! It also helped that the neighbor kids discovered it too, so more friends come over to play outside. Mom win! 🎉🌲💕
*personalised childrens books* are awesome gifts for kids while young and as they grow, you'd contribute to their literature and learning while young in a more fun, engaging and unique way (custom made reading experience)
I loved Calvin & Hobbes when I was younger, I would encourage parents to get their kids comic books or maybe age appropriate graphic novels, if maybe reading is a battle or challenge for them, maybe adding an element of fun could incentivize learning how to read better & build their literary confidence
Dear parents! Let the kids choose their favourite toys and souvenir toys!!! When the kids are very good, then they deserve toys. Every good behaviour kid should have plush toys, legos, puzzles, figures, dolls, souvenir toys, toys from cartoons, balls, table games, blocks, cars, outside toys and etc. Please buy only those toys, what the kids very want!!!! I know many toys and souvenir toys are very expensive, but when the kids are very good all the times, then sometimes they deserve these things!!! Please be kind parents and make Your kids very happy with these toys, what the kids have chosen and don’t say NO all the times, when the kids very deserves those toys for good behaviour!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil 🙏🥰❤
Why do you hate kids? haha. I'm sorry I disagree. When my kids were little my wife heard this same idea. We bought this kind of stuff. And the kids didn't touch them. Get them toys that they want.
@@TheEclecticHomeschooler I thought that was a good Idea as well. Although my daughter was the reader. And she was never denied a book when she found one. Especially when I was buying beer. Her reasoning was if I got beer she got a book. I never found a good arguement for that.
@@ThatsWhat-She. I don't believe I did. I meant buying toyse like this is almost a punishment. Kids don't like them. They play with them a few minutes and thats it. If you bring them out and you push them they don't like it. They have games that have money which makes them learn math. They have games like lego and erecto sets that teach them to build. Reading. don't get that game where they have to tell you what the noun is. No. Find a book that they like. Start by reading to them. Later let them read to you. When they get tired of that book take them to the store and find another one. But get books that they find are fun. Learning should be fun. Most these educational toys are not fun. All you do is teach them that learning is boring. Then they don't want to.
Do you have any other fun gift ideas you would add to the list? 🎁

Fun idea!
Last minute shopping for 13 kids from 6 to 13. I like the engraving ( sweat shirts ) or arts and crafts.
I get books, craft items and art supplies for non toy presents!
They’re fantastic ideas! I’m like you I dread having more clutter added to our already stuffed home

We get our kids toys as well. We just prefer to have a mixture of both, and our kids like these kinds of gifts just as much!

I would counter your question, why do you associate love with toys specifically?
