- Bulgaria isn't a famous destination to visit for me as a Japanese.
I wanted to see how it is there and try Bulgarian yoghurt since that's what Japanese think of when we heard the word "Bulgaria"

I'm American and visited Bulgaria in June. I met two Japanese guys in my hostel (they were not traveling together) in Veliko Tarnovo, so this gave me some nice nostalgia :)

Wow, you were so lucky with that taxi driver. Some of them could rip you off with the fare prices if you're taking a taxi from the airport (or anywhere else). They usually target the tourists.

Good video but I bet Sofia is nothing impressive especially if you come from Tokyo. Maybe consider Nesebur, Vlas, Sunny Beach: these are the coast cities and look OK in the autumn or spring.
@@jinfromjapan aha well Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto... everywhere looks nice in Japan.
Sunny Beach is gross in my opinion, but Nesebar is nice. Even better though is Sozopol I think. And Veliko Tarnovo.
I dunno, but in my opinion a stranger should visit the balkans. We are proud of the balkans, and SOME sea coasts but mostly mountains and nature.

Thank you for visiting my birth country. I'm a Bulgarian who emigrated to NYC in 2002. The meat you bought with the wine might be either Pastarma (which is cured beef) or Ribitsa. Usually those are part of a charcuterie board along with kashkaval and Bulgarian feta cheese. I hope you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for creating such interesting videos. I enjoy watching them and because of your video about Yonaguni Island I will go there when I visit Japan.

Cute video! Sofia is not very attractive in the winter if you are a tourist. Unfortunately, if you don't know which brand to look for, some yogurts in Bulgaria can be disappointing for Japanese consumers. ブルガリア明治ヨーグルト is really good, like homemade. Greetings from Nakano!
