@@Samulater_ the big issue it is the slight back movement cuz its a floaty suit can make u whiff if your not close enuf or give someone a second long enuf to dodge stun u counter etc but thats also an issue w the raid zaku 4 and a few other floaty suits ive noticed even in space or w balancers even w a fast motion input the suits will still stall or float back a sec before the rushing downswing
dag doll can pull off similar stuff. half the strength of it is that since its so rare to see nobody knows how to handle an in-your-face support at 700
long as you can land shots and abuse the lunging downswing on its second melee via corners or just smart usage in general i agree its kit has a solid selection of tools overall for handling one v ones asides just flat getting caught in the open from behind and not being able to turn to fight back
To be fair, is support playing like Raids and General. Most common raids and generals having 2 combo like this 2. Moreover Raids and Generals have more kit but Raids and General are suppose to hold the attention, especially the general. Since pixy stealth type raids, and pure melee raids, have very big flaw, easy counter by tackle, unless team are able to get attention, so they can be 1 v 1 , without other distraction or totally stealth or sneak in for maximize effect. The gameplay result is those teams can make less mistake and more distraction win
to be fair if an enemy team is that thick they deserve to get support flanked and downed and aggressively support play w your main line is always good just gotta be careful to not get fucking focused if your frontline cant hold attention
Usually open up with charged Shield Beam Cannon if I'm trying to stagger chain and play sniper. Rifle + Long Beam Saber if I'm going melee mode, switch to grenade launcher is rifle is close to overheating.
I feel like any time I play White Rider I spend more time fishing at mid range for stabs then anything else. Doesn't help that you debatably really only get one shot with the Shekinah laser
Ah White Rider, debatably the worst suit in the game. The least supportive support unit. Do yourself a favor and never pick this thing at B+ or higher ranking cause it's just taking a support slot that can be used for a support suit that has the ability to long range support. Being able to melee is a plus for a support but having long range 1 hit stagger options is a must. Also you will get rushed and targeted by veterans as an easy target if you use a suit with a chain/mini-gun no matter what unit type because veterans know the stagger/melee rush meta and they will assume you are a new player.
@@Samulater_ I only play it in unranked. I like the suit but it really isn't sure whether it wants to be a real support or something more like a raid and just generally sucks overall. I hear it's Code Fairy version has dodge roll in Zeus, shame they decided to just execute this poor thing on porting it over.
@@marthofaltea1751 Yea it's better in the PvE game. I was excited to first get it because of how cool it looked then never played it again after a few times. I was way more useful in a Pale Rider cause it has 2 insta staggers and the benefits of a general. Dolmel is probably the most broken 450 right now cause it's shoulder melee melts any unit type. Maybe they will buff White Rider though. Kshatriya used to be unplayable in A+/S- but they gave it a dodge roll and buffed it's stats and now it's meta again or at least an A tier suit.
@@marthofaltea1751 Try Hizack Cannon or Mudrock if you want to go 450 support. They aren't great for melee but they are great long range stagger support. Just gotta hope your teammates can keep that raid away. Otherwise, Woundwort is the only solid 450 melee focused support, but it requires GATCHA luck to get. And I take it back the Nemo Cannon is debatably the worst support in the game lol.
Also most new players don't know that aggro melee is the current meta haha. Hopefully more OP supports like that Hyaku Shiki Kai ground type will shift that a bit
@@Samulater_ more supports need balancers too tho its the big make or break w stun knockdown for supports given so many are slow i can still only imagine how busted gp02 mlrs would be w balancers just push a gen w vulcans then its rushing downswing would be so good
