      It’s because you know you’re gonna get something crazy, for better or for worse. And you can’t ever forget that he did The Sixth Sense, so there’s always hope that he will make another masterpiece.

And before we knew who M.Knight really was all about. There's a reason why sixth sense is on all cinema lists as one of the greatest movies.

    I had the privilege of speaking in the same creativity session as M. Night at Adobe MAX 2019. Met him and his family backstage. He truly is the kindest, most down-to-earth public figure I've ever met, and he deserves his illustrious success!

      I would add that he's a real creative trying to forge his own path--not a remake or an adaptation (sometimes he does those), but he has a voice that is his. That's great too.

      Unbreakable is his best movie. Not sure about the movies that follow. I feel like I saw the second one and it wasn't good. I love Unbreakable and wish it ended there. Reminds me of Joker, same type of dark, quietness about it. Unbreakable really was way before its time.

      The only movie of his that I genuinely dislike was his Last Airbender adaptation. Even then, with the bad writing and bad acting, the primary flaw was simply that it’s not a story meant to be told in a feature length film.

    He seems like a great guy, I don't liked all of his movies but I'm just happy that his Eastrail 177 Trilogy exists, it's really different than any superhero movies we've ever seen. I love that trilogy, really underrated in my opinion

    One of the most creative writer/director/storytellers we have. He’s always trying to do something original and that alone warrants kudos. I appreciate his love of film and his passion for the craft of storytelling. One of my favorite directors of all time.

    I love this man. He's always so kind and well spoken. And you can tell he's pretty self-aware 🤣. Some of his movies may not be the best, but he 100% has some absolute MASTERPIECES. Signs changed my life. It's the reason I'm into aliens, the reason I'm working in film/TV. And I'd say it was a game changer for sci-fi

    Shyamalan just does his own thing. One of the few original concept directors in Hollywood.
    He tried wading into studio franchise system but got burnt with Avatar and After Earth.
    Nevertheless, the mastery of his works like Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs etc have cemented his legacy.
