He’s not actually. So many people hate William. He’s actually the most hated Afton in general tbh. For me tho, I just hate Mrs. Afton. Even in aus where she’s good
No surprise he still loved her, despite how horrible she may be, she still somehow manages to be better than William, and children long for a parental figure of any kind. She just so happens to he the lesser of two evils.

i see your point. but mrs. afton actually was the one to hug michael, somewhat pretending to feel bad because she didn’t really feel bad and he just stood there and accepted it. she’s the only parental figure that offered him comfort at the time, and he wasn’t going to push it away. although that seems illogical (and i completely understand why), it was just normal for him i guess idk- i’m not the best at executing parent-child relationships that are like this so i understand the confusion. i hope i made some kind of sense but if i didn’t i apologize
think of it this way micheal doesnt get enough parental love. Ms. Afton being the only one showing him love (even fake) he would want to be with her and in a way uk trust her more. When u get hit by someone you love, being a child you immediately assume u did smth wrong so in hopes to make the person forgive you try to show love to them in this case micheal gave a hug or hugged her back. And getting hugged he would cling onto the little, fake love he gets. i hope you understand TuT
When someone lacks parental love then something like this happens, Michael basically is looking after that affection and wants to be accepted that's why he's closer to her she's the one who gives him at least comfort even if she's toxic and manipulative but not like William of course
Actually you are almost completely wrong. I was hit and screamed at as a kid, but I loved my mama. If it pleased her I'd do anything. If it made her happy, I'd apologize even if I knew I did nothing wrong. Not to mention I'd hug her and chance I got because even for a second, she felt like a real mom. That's more times than not how it goes.

I never feel 100% satisfied with my designs really, I can usually do good on SOME outfits but when it comes to hair I can’t really make hairstyles in Gacha Club without making them look to basic.
And I have two fandoms that I make content of. I don’t know in which one has better designs though because one of the fandoms I do can’t 100% accurately make their faces or something because of Gacha Club’s limitations.
