[C651 207/208 NSL] [Train Fault; Detrained at Yew Tee NB] [NS7 Kranji → NS5 Yew Tee]

Notes:
Unscheduled upload, I guess for obvious reasons, that reason being that it happened today and stuff.
Detailed Synopsis:
- I first took 207/208 Southbound prior to this, no pickup issue was observed, tho earlier in the day such a fault has occurred, except it was back to normal at that point
- I took it Northbound again from City Hall, and I observed slow pickup, but its the 3M3T kind.
- At Sembawang, SMRT Staff boarded the train through 2207 B4, and went through 207 to check before going back the other way to check 208
- Arriving Marsiling, the train suddenly used friction brakes to stop, and then extremely slow pickup was observed from then. Car 2207 and 2208 was seen to be dead after this incident.
- Departing Kranji, which is when I started rolling the camera to capture the insanely slow acceleration, the train suddenly switched to Yew Tee bound and was detrained there and then. After which, the train made its way to Jurong East Platform A and was stabled there.
It was just fortunate that I was able to start recording at Kranji right before the announcement to disembark it at the next stop was made.

it may very well be the last video of 207/208 on service, and i may have held the honour of being its last passengers and the last enthu to ever film it on service..?
i dont know what they're gonna do with this now, but the problem seems quite bad based on what happened..? dk, cant say for sure really

@@markraphaeldivina there was some enthus that alighted at kranji, one stop before the unscheduled detrainment, but i cant be sure if there are anymore enthus after that. but i was the one who took it until i had to disembark due to the detrainment

Luckily I manage to film it at CTH SB > MSP then turnaround at MSP > CTH

Well, it returned this morning (as this train spawn right in front of me by surprise when I thought it was 237/238) lol. Seems like they have resolved this issue 🤔
