The MIT micromasters sounds best. Taught by real professors, proctored exams, and credits transfer - plus it's a great recognizable school

  • @fabriziopellegrini9517

As an aside, before trying to tackle the MIT program, I'm following the course in computer science with python from MIT (professor Eric Grimson)a on edx, just to be sure I have the programming prerequisites.
The book this course and the companion course use is Introduction to Computation and programming using Python, by John Guttag. It's a very interesting book and useful if you, like me, didn't have any formal exposition to CS

I will go for the MIT program. I love their classes, the real ones they have on campus, not some light version. If it is a bit more complete and harder, it will pay off.

Excellent insights into these alternatives. I was also looking for such programs to spice up my career and found pretty much the same thing. I'd go for MIT's one! Unfortunately, the link from Berkeley's program seems to be broken (I guess they are not offering the program anymore?!).

Hello. I have a doubt, I search in many places, but don't found the answer.
The MicroMasters from UC SanDiego are self-paced or if have assignments
and exams with specific due dates (don't undertand the meaning of 10
months that figures in edx page).

I would first choose the Berkeley and finish the course.
There are only 3 course in Berkeley. So I would next finish the Harvard certificate.
If there is still appetite I would pursue one of the micro masters , 👍👍

Not too difficult. Having some baseline knowledge helps, but they don't jump straight into hard, technical concepts. They start with fundamentals and work up.
